They dyed the baby chickens? I went in October of 2008.  I liked the Aswan market best, they didn't hassle me to death and pretty much left us alone. My Nile cruise ship was the M/S Norma, you can see it in my Karnak video... I loved the cruise. I put up a new Egypt video this week, it shows my visit to Aswan, the market and a felucca ride... check it out and let me know what you think.
