  • I hope they will soon create rights for homophobic people. Because i just want to punch the hell out of their face.

  • this people r f@#!$ stupid lol how the f are their right been taken away lol they are the ones taking the rights aways from other

  • Hhuahuauhuha!

    Homophobia sucks!

  • Disgusting rightwingers spreading fear through their lies.

    Again.

  • This video is Gay....

  • everyone say hail hitler .......... dont you just love Fear ? nothing works better ,One of Hitler SS said "it was simple to get people to do anything, we just said there life we in danger .

  • The title of this video is specious, spurious and downright false. There's no such thing as a 'human right to getting married'. Please don't misinform people.

  • There's an interesting irony in this video. The "Ad" itself isn't "hate". It's "opinion" centered around the peoples (actors) concerns and fears for the self.

But the reaction to the "Ad" is more militant, and hostile. In point of fact, that's where the "Hate" comes in, and is very one sided.

With regards to the content of the "Ad" itself, I find it childish and ridiculous.

  • ITA, the only hate comes from the ones who react to this "ad". The "ad" is merely an expression of a certain stance.

Oh and - getting married is NOT a human right, that claim is actually more ridiculous than the "ad' itself.

  • I always wait for them to specify how actually gay marriages are going to change anybody else's life endanger it or influence it negatively in any other way. But they never do and I can not come up with just one idea myself.

  • The prying sex obsessed finger of religion worms it's way into places it is not welcome once more.

Superstition is great if kept to yourself, if you want to believe in demons and angels, gods and devils, spirtits and ghosts then help yourself, enjoy it, go sacrifice a goat if the books you read and the voices you hear in your head tell you this is what your gods want.

But for fuck's sake please keep this shit to yourself, don't impose your childish thinking onto others.

    The we all get along.

  • The thing is, Religion created Marriage! And you have pryed YOUR sex obsessed finger into it and made marriage a legal issue. I'm not the most religious person, and I could personally care less about the whole issue. I'm just commenting because your statement is completely backwards.

  • Not at all, marriage pre-dates religion.

It has it's origins in man's need for assurance as to paternity of his children and pre-dates religion.

  • Well then, if you're Gay you can't have children so I guess you don't need to worry about it then.... right?

  • Procreation is not an issue for same sex marriage, it is not part of the debate - nor has it ever been - I hopefully need not point out to why this is the case.

  • Procreation is not an issue huh? It is not part of the debate.... well then, I guess I have nothing left to say. I mean, if "mating" has nothing to do with "mates" and marriage was founded on the principles of reproduction and the ownership of your "mate"which was of course, the opposite sex. And Religion got involved, and maintained you had to be the opposite sex, but, that was religion's sex obsessed finger, and up is down and an anus is the same as a vagina... uh....ok? you win?

  • Yes, in the debate on same sex marriage procreation is not an issue - for the very simple reason that it is not possible.

It is neither an argument in support or against same sex marriage - it is an irrelevance - much the same way in which levitation is not an issue in the debate on same sex marriage.

  • Oh, I get it now. Kind of like ammunition has nothing to do with guns, and gasoline has nothing to do with cars, and big belt buckles have nothing to do with cowboys... it all makes so much sense now. But how cool would it be if you could levitate? Oh look... a quarter...

  • Ok, in the debate over same sex marriage - what part has procreation played ?

From both sides of the debate - how has procreation informed the arguments ?

  • Its the point, if I go off of what you stated before... "Marriage has its origins in man's need for assurance as to paternity of his children..." Marriage, mating, sex, love... it all stems from reproduction or the desire to do so, all species, all creatures, all life. That is the foundation. Without it, there is nothing left but love in the cognitive sense.... nothing natural or instinctive.

  • Exactly, procreation is not possible in a same sex marriage - so it cannot be part of that marriage - what is left is love.

It is not part of the debate, no one is arguing that same sex couple should or should not be allowed to procreate, it is simply an irrelevance.

  • Ok....

  • No need to reply to the last one, I have the feeling if l converse with you any longer l may require counseling... or at least some form of bi-polar meds.

  • I don't doubt it.

  • I wonder how many of those "Pre-Religion Ancient Marriages" were same sex?

  • Most probably none - as I have said marriage has it's origins in man's need for assurance as to paternity of his children - it also was a means for a man to contractually own his wife, for her to become his property.

  • This add is INSANE!!

  • The whole thing is a sham. They need to "protect marriage" meaning interfere with OTHER PEOPLE's lives that have NOTHING to do with them. It's the most outrageous immoral thing theists are doing today. Blasted theists. We need to get rid of them.

  • i dont get it...they hire actors all the time for all commercials...is this some sort of surprise to you all? and its not simply hate speech it's just someones opinion. it might be stupid but theres no need for censorship.

  • They are hiring paid actors to portray educated people to support their agenda, its wrong, and yes it is hate speech, the kkk thinks the white race is superior and all other races shouldnt have equal rights should that be tollerated? nope, and neither should discriminating against two people who happen to be gay getting married. If you cant see the bigotry in this commercial you need to open your eyes...no disrespect btw.

  • This video leads me to believe that if homosexuals are allowed to marry that they will come into my home late at night and forcibly sodomize me.

  • Yeah, but actually they were trying to paint that as if it were a bad thing. j/k

In any event, the beauty of hate-speech is that someone has to say it. And they get to carry that albatross with them through the court-yard of moderates turned sympathizers.

They are the new KKK and they are embracing their role. But this time around its looks like they are *peaking* at just over 50%. That does not bode well for them in the long term.

  • The religious right always seems to be on the wrong side of social progress. First it was segregation, and now it is gay rights.

  • I really like how they try to show opposing gay marriage as something other then the denial of civil rights.

  • I love how they mention is will become something in their life that they will have to deal with. They do not explain, however, how being intoduced to or knowing about gay marriage will be detrimental to them. All I see is the story ofa doctor hwo shouldnt' have been a doctor, and a parent who is obviously illequiped to be raising children.

  • I think I seen that bitch in the red shirt in that movie napoleon dynamite.

  • Mirroring videos is fun!Exposing hate FTW

  • Cool! This anti human rights campaign needs to be brought to as many people attention as possible. ★★★★★

    Katalyzt

  • lol i dont see whats so shocking about them being actors. who would have thought that people on television arn't real!

im glad that this ad has received such a negative response though, it just goes to show that hatred and anti gay view arn't as easily accepted these days

  • I agree on both points. Not surprising that they are actors, but the actual ad is sickening on its own and need this type of responses...

    ~Angel XIII~

  • Being actors is not the big deal, it's the claim of direct representation that I find unethical. Someone is claiming they are a Doctor. What would happen if Phillip Morris put up and add where a 'doctor' claimed that smoking was not dangerous to your health but actually beneficial to you? Message aside, I wouldn't have much of an issue from an ad perspective if they either cited the doctor she represented or left her 'testimonial' out.
