Saturday Night Slammasters was INSANE!! I loved it even more then the WWE games. When my SNES died I was sad only because I could not play this game anymore.

I remember doing a mega move with Doink he jumps from turnbuckle to turnbuckle and gives you a mega whoopie cushion and one time with Owen I did a tornado closeline and these were done with just button mashing as a kid.

In my opinion the reason why WCW Superbrawl wrestling is so underrated is because most people don't read the controls/ instructions. For example you have 1 button for kicking out and another for getting up. it has one of the best (if not the best) Tag modes ever with the help time. Presentation with announcer, the digitized portraits of the wrestlers accompanied with their trademark chants when doing finishers is really cool. As mentioned in this video: give it a try and learn the controls.

and somebody please explain to me why the death match mode in the genesis version is ONLY versus another player and not versus the cpu. a lot of potential was wasted there. i am not a snes fanboy but the 4 player/tag team mode of the snes version of slam masters was great.

do you really think Slam Masters arcade looks and sounds that much better than the SNES port? I am not a nintendo fan boy (in fact i consider myself more a genesis and Neo geo fan) but Slam Masters on SNES was a really good port. the only thing that pisses me off was that Capcom once again was not able to use the full screen during gameplay (black borders). Other than that it looks great. Level of animation and color, all moves from the arcade, wild fans, 4 players and NO slowdown.

I think Natsume Championship Wrestling is the one that I played when I rented it years ago. I still remember one of the characters had the Sharpshooter submission move and the other wrestlers had other stuff like the camel clutch

I heavily disagree on the Genesis Royal Rumble having a better cast of characters...while the Genesis exclusives are Hogan, Duggan, IRS, Martel, and Shango...SNES has Perfect, Flair, Tatanka, Yokozuna, and DiBiase. Which sounds better?
