How long has that pot of potion been standing around or did they prepare a new batch? It should be poisoned if it has mistletoe. That potion sure takes awhile for it to work. 2)Mistletoe is not Poisonous read wikipedia
3) Yes all potions wear off after while that's why the druid prepared the real one later in order to escape

@Staszek1987050806 I did read wikipedia and it said mistletoe is poisonous. The Viscum Album is an example of mistletoe that is poisonous.
