I went there almost 10 years ago when i was like 9-10 yrs old and i have to say that was one of, if not the best vacation in my life so far. I miss being a kid sipping pina coladas by the beach and diving underwater to see the amazing fish and seashells.
I have visited there 3 times,and headed back in a few years. I always Stay at Posada Real every time I go back. You can walk right out to the beach. For now I will just dream about the roaring of the ocean waves at night.
i went to ixtapa about 15 or 20 years ago, it was amazing then and i bet its even better now!! some of the best and biggest waves i have ever seen and the beaches were amazing !!! one of the best and most memorable trips ive ever taken for sure !!!

We went in 1996 unfortunately during hurricane season right after a hurricane. We couldn't walk in the water in most places for a few days, but it was so beautiful. I will never forget it. We took the little city bus daily from Ixtapa to Zihuatanejo daily for 2 pesos, as we found Zihuatanejo much more colorful and interesting, full of culture, history, and ancient charm. We stayed at the Pyramid Hotel on the hill. 5 star w five restaurants in it.
i stayed at the hotel next to the beach for my cousins wedding. it was AMAZING! i might go backk there next year. and for people who are think ing about going, its cheap!! (or at least mine was) 5 STARS!

i visited ixtapa zihuatanejo like 2 years and a half such a nice place i met my best friend there, justin who recently passed away but everytime that i watch a video like this it just bring back memories
I met my fiance in Ixtapa.. he was the lifeguard at Park Royal, his name is Fransico (Paco). We are going to purchase property in Ixatapa and move there with our son! Such a beautiful place, and beautiful people. Nice video, thanks for sharing
