Further observations: early humans may not have seen themselves as separate from the rest of the world. All animals seem to recognize 'like' and 'unlike' kinds of animals (except when imprinted on another species). Humans many have seen no greater difference between themselves and other animals - except that most animals were superior: faster, keener senses, stronger.
While I enjoy these videos, and hearing what these people have to say, it amazes me how unfamiliar they are with some of the basics of sustainable pre-modern living. For example, early humans almost certainly hunted together as an entire group, with game moving away from 'beaters' toward others stationed downwind, or perhaps over a cliff. Knowing which plants to eat, where and when to find them, and removing some competing vegetation were likely more important than hunting.
