Actually they really don't "suck". They are suffering here from the audio codec of Youtube compression. In the 'flesh' they sound bloody good for the size. We got them because the sound on a 22" Sony LED TV in the kitchen is tinny and awful (like on all small thin LED's in this size range), and these have made the sound like it was on older CRT TV's with deep speaker diaphragms. Plenty of bass thanks to separate tweeter and low end drivers.
i got those also but for my tv there good speakers they work great
