  • In canon 5d, "silent mode" doesn't actually delays shot.

It takes photo when you press and than it delayed only shutter curtain, mode one releases curtain after some time, mode 2 releases on button-release.

How to check when it really does take picture: turn camera around and look into lens and see when it closes aperture blades.

  • not to mention, if im not mistaken hes using about a 16,000.00 camera about 30 or 40 megapixels if correct.

  • lol he likes the word shoot

  • Nikon D300 it is d9

  • 5:25 Nikon also has a mirror up shutter delay mode, in the D200 its menu d5 "Exp. Delay Mode", it adds a delay to all shutter modes "M S and C"

  • does the delay mode useful in every shot?

  • I think it makes little difference on really high speed outdoor sunny day stuff, but I tend to leave it on, it's only a problem if timing is critical, street photography, sports or other moving subjects in that case it gives your DSLR the shutter response of a cheap point and shoot!

  • Ok thank you microstockinsider
