The hair did not need to be cut at all, but what she needed was a makeover, but not the type this salon would give, but the type that someone such as user/DelyriaPhoto would give her and maybe some really cool clothes and jewelry to match!

@LongHairisBest A hairdresser myself, I see your perspective, but you're being rather close minded, don't you think? Consider this, short hair is:

1. More practical

2. More professional

3. Less maintenance, you can't dry and style Kim Kardashian hair in 5 minutes. Why do you think so many 9-5 women have bobs or shorter hairstyles?

4. Are easier to change, If we cut an inch off our hair, it looks completely different. If you cut an inch, no one will know lol.

There's nothing wrong with having either long or short hair, just I don't advocate everyone having one or the other only. Just have fun with it, hair's an accessory, and you don't carry the same handbag for 10 years, right? Change is good sometimes, and cliche as it is, IT GROWS BACK! :)

Hallie is the exception, not the rule and she looks great with a crop, but not all women

look great with super short hair.. some look horrible with Bobs. for example Shannen

Doherty looks much better with longer hair than a Bob. it makes her head look larger

@Revidescent84 also, what you say about the workplace is not entirely true.

many women will try shorter hair for a duration including some celebrities(Jenny McCarthy, Alyssa Milano, and Natalie Portman come to mind).but generally return to longer hair.

it's the women who are much older around 50+ you tend to stick with short hair.

also, short hair does not necessarily look more professional than long hair. there are many businesswomen who wear longer hair.

I used to have short hair and had it cut in a short angled bob

before it became "Trendy" when Victoria Beckham's overrated "Pob"

became the "in" style and every other woman started jumping on

the short hair bandwagon.

when I first had it cut I loved it and got my bi-monthly trims, but after two years

I got quite bored with it and missed my long hair and it's been over two years since I started

letting it grow.
