Yeah your right man, It does need a little more. The shocks are a little short but they were the only shocks I had to use at the time!! Getting it sorted though :-)
That will also add weight at lower part of the crawler.
Having 3 skid plates, the ones in front and behind could be a hindrence to crawling, but the central plate being smooth compared to the plastic profiled one is a million times better for ripping over the edges !
My first setup was a droop setup with the stock shocks, but i wanted to try a spung setup but didn't want to rebuild the stock shocks. I had some 90mm shocks for another project which i used, they are a little shorter but work great. I think they where FastraxRC make
The truck sits a little lower and feels more stable with the shorter shocks.
I might rebuild the stock shocks to sprung when i have time :-)
Looks to be setup pretty well, I'm running sprung on mine atm but doesn't look as planted as yours, what wheel weights are you running ?

I can't use a center skid because I've triangulated my lower links and modified my skid to take the links in-board.
I might design/make my own skid soon though ;-)
