  • BRILLIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • God damn, that boom-chick is fucking amazing, how the hell he make that sound?

  • This is a great rendition; you can barely recognize it.

  • Tom needs food, and a Jacket

  • I can't believe the audience didn't cheer at 1:37-1:55! That little flight of innovation was breathtaking. And through it he never looses the pulse, pulling the audience along in their memory of the beat and rhythm while he solos. Just love it.

  • Just English audiences being polite!

  • He's a regular guest on WGN Radio

  • Hi there! Wow, this is an unbelievebal version!

    Does anybody have the tabs?

    By!

  • Hi Stingerfyle glad you enjoyed this, you wont find tabs for this 'cos this is Tommy being Tommy and its just an awesome display of improvisation on a theme. Best to pick the basic melody out and then work around it yourself, have fun.

  • Hey bud, don't suppose you got anything else to load up from that night? Looks like he was in great form. I imagine T is cool with uploads because they help to sell out his concerts for starters, but also probably feeds his CD and DVD sales because he is not a 'top of the tops' artist. I certainly buy them.

  • @Stingerfyle Just google one min julep tommy tab and it should be the third from the top.

  • Nobody else think he's a bit creepy? Just throwin' it out there.

  • (hehe) spankdoobius, you've got an adventure ahead of you. :) The 'creepiness' is mostly from poor lighting. Look for 'Guitar Boogie', 'Mombasa', 'Classical Gas', and 'Angelina' by Tommy. See if you still find him creepy after those.

  • Yeah, I'm a big Tommy fan, but he does look creepy in this vid, doesn't he? Dunno what it is, maybe demonic possession ;-), but he kicks de debbil out and plays his julep, anyway.

Like RMNhobie said, check out his other stuff and see if you still find him creepy.

  • Oh, I see! You just want to argue about "who' s better, Tommy or Django?"

  • that's not an argument.

  • i seen all his stuff and don't know where you're getting the "creepy" vibe from...i've met the man and hes a genuine guy all the way

  • It was worth a cold walk in the snow to get there. Thanks for uploading!

  • This guy is amazing.

  • It really was an awesome evening, much worth weathering!

  • That old man is getting better and better.

Breathtaking, and I have asthma so I know what I'm talking about. ;-)

  • Yeh you are so right!

  • One Mint Julep. *****

  • Thank you for taking the time to write such an eloquent synopsis of that magical evening.

I have been fortunate enough to experience similar magic with the virtuoso from down under. It's hard to find words to describe the feeling. You did a wonderful job.

  • Great stuff! Thanks for posting!

  • I'll just make a quick correction to your comment "I strode in alongside Tommys'daugher Antonella and her mother". His daughter is Angelina. Great video! :-)

  • Good stuff.

  • Great !! Nice Sound!!!

  • One of my faourite tunes, and your report was exquisitly written, a realy joy to read. thanks!
