LOL, these "scenarios" are such bull crap. Ok, let's say there's an altercation on campus that results in guns being drawn. What makes you think those people wouldn't have been carrying illegally in the first place?
there is no "altercation" worth drawing my gun over. We are taught to walk away...these asshats that hate guns dont know what the heck they are talking about
Dealing with so many people from so many backgrounds? What's the difference between responding to a shooting at the mall and a shooting at the college? Personally I don't think that people should have to get permits, background checks, or anything else to own/carry guns. BUT, as it is now, the college students who are armed off campus (only by government approval) are the same ones who they don't trust with guns on campus. It's a double standard to approve them to carry everywhere except college
Here's the thing, I hear the argument both ways, but the point is ANYONE (i.e. a criminal element) COULD carry anywhere, including on campus. The point of the bill is to make it LEGAL for a permit holder to carry. You can get away with just about anything if you are careful to not get caught - but law abiding citizens are restricted. You can't tell me that someone with fingerprints on file, a permit in their pocket, and specific firearms training is more dangerous than the unknown criminal.
lol...Americans.....
Giving every nation nuclear weapons would make the world a more secure place.

Let me also point out that Utah allows CFP holders to carry on campus and there have been zero mass shootings in any colleges and universities there.

You're dealing with some many different people from so many different backgrounds off campus and those students aren't doing anything.
