In the right system Lorenzen, while still being a backup, could be a crucial addition to the team. Of course the days of trickery and clever play are over. lol

But I digress, he's a talented QB but as said he's probably too immobile to start. However using him in short yardage situations while going over plays mid-drive with the starting QB during said short yardage plays? Lorenzen in a two back system would be a reckoning when just a few yards are needed.

Think of when in 2001, when drew bledsoe got hurt, tom brady steps in and leads the pats to a super bowl victory. Last year, drew bledsoe sucked again, and tony romo comes in and does a fine job.
