That was mind boggling. I wish there was video of this performance. A lot of nice sounds, plus this guy can give anyone a run for their money in the speed department.

I saw this band in 1974 in Leeds and they were fabulous. Bill Connors played beautifully but there was a feeling he wasn't happy to be there. He looked terribly nervous and kept wiping his hands.The news came out after that he wanted to lay jazz whilst Chick wanted a rock player. After leaving RTF I understand he concentrated on classical guitar for many years.

Some of his solos on the album, Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy are exceptional and put his successor to shame frankly.
