Problem with Iraq is that it took us out of Afghanistan and that was our real fight. We took our Mountain division out of Afghanistan and off to Iraq and now we are fighting on 2 fronts . If not for Iraq the punishment we would have inflicted on Taliban/ Al Queda by now would have been 10 fold we could have sent divisions into the Mts to ferret out Taliban instead we have the bulk in Iraq doing what they should have done for themselves by now. Problem with Iraq is that it took us out of Afghanistan and that was our real fight. We took our Mountain division out of Afghanistan and off to Iraq and now we are fighting on 2 fronts . If not for Iraq the punishment we would have inflicted on Taliban/ Al Queda by now would have been 10 fold we could have sent divisions into the Mts to ferret out Taliban instead we have the bulk in Iraq doing what they should have done for themselves by now. The whole thing was ill thought out and planned.
