idiots who have never served their country sit on their fat asses comparing the military of each nation.. we are all allies so shut up.. i will be serving the australian defence force very soon and i hope someday to train alongside the U.S. and Brits.
We are both very good forces and Australia and America are the peace keepers. We both always come to help others in their wars dont you think the same goes if either of us are in trouble? America and Australia both got attacked by the Japs and we worked together to take em out. Vietnam proved the favour as return and now the ADF is doing all it can to help with out new PM that doesnt want us there
Taliban suffered heavy casualties, had the element of surprise and with that fired RPG's probably before the soldiers knew they were there, whilst there were no Australian wounded or dead.
I guess Alaah wasn't smiling upon those sandniggers then, now was he?
@ozzyguy67 Actually douchbag it was more like 12K+ Marines and 20K+ Navy at the Battle of Guadalcanal that denied the Japanese their strategy to take New Guinea. The last of the Aussy Army did a masterful job at Port Morseby but they would have been trashed of the Japanese had held and fortified Guadalcanal. The loss of New Guinea would have meant Australia would have been lost. Understand the facts of history without emotion and you will look less the fool.

Australian soldiers are evil and should not have that equiptment. i live in Australia and i hate it and i do not honour or even wish to tolerate the Australian soldiers. BURN THE AUSTRALIAN FLAG HAHAHA
LOL at this USMC v Australian Army! Don't know where the sense that the Australian Army is the best in the world has come from, US infantry battalion (not USMC or rangers or airborne) beats equivalent Australian one every due to superior weapon systems and similar levels of training. However the 'best fighting force' man for man in the world is the brits by far (even tho i hate to admit it lol), they have done the hardest fighting by far in Afghanistan.
Marine Corp is difficult to get into.. My brother is in it.. The training is difficult and exhausting.. I support all Military who make that sacrifice, no matter where they come from.
Don't be quick to write off defence forces from other countries. It is true that Australian soldiers are amongst the best in the world, however other services (such as the USMC) are up there too.
assassin, you must be stupid as hell. The USMC is the most difficult service for anyone to join amongst the US Military, not just anyone can join! They are a highly disciplined and motivated force and they do this all without any respectable funding, but they make up for that by being aggressive.
The Australian Defense Forces are superb, all of the experts have nothing but praises for them. but there is no such thing as a "best" force. Every military on Earth must be tailored for their needs
The United States for example, are a primarily naval and expeditionary power and have heavy emphasis on large amounts of supporting arms available but with little ground forces (in comparison with our needs)
Australia is also a naval force since yall have a huge coastline to defend, and an overall much smaller force, but thats allright cause that allows you to spend more on the individual warrior rather than on weapon systems and force as a whole.
The ADF is best configured for defending their homeland, peacekeeping ops, and supporting with additional boots on the ground other international operations (such as Iraq and Afghanistan).
While the U.S. Mil is best configured for being the primary force in the international arena, providing most of the firepower and grunts. Australia and America have a proud history together on the feild of combat, so please, grow up and dont ruin that history.
Australian Army is superb, that is true. But don't just say the US Marines suck or any other Army sucks. USMC accepts about 1 in 8. Even though some of them are dumb, they are still good fighters. US Army is the same way, as is the Brits, Canadians, and more. "due to our great training because my friends dad is in Afghanistan right now and knows how hard the training is for the army" sort of makes you sound stupid. If you have no personal experience, then keep your mouth closed.
Haha, hodgo!!!!! Remember what a certain OC said, if u weren't just standing around in contact u wouldnt have got shot. Obviously hasnt read any reports or seen this footage.
