20th Century is indeed a fine, fine piece of our domestic popular rock music craft. Don Walker's songwriting captures so many moments and perspectives of Australian life, both urban and rural - and with chrystaline clarity. Barnes and Moss have two of the most distinctive, complementary and, yes, beautiful male singing voices in our country - voices full of heart, and quite a bit of balls.

Twentieth Century is a fine album. Chisel had decided to disband before recording it, and the result was some mighty fine rock songs like this, and great videos too.
