  • looks like a 55 year old amp. i like that.

  • Argh.... what does it SOUND LIKE?

  • @ploukusa

It's a printed board, it sound like a cheap amp, not as good as a real amp like a victoria ;-)

  • @backtothetone they dont sound cheap be fair, what guitar you use through yours?

  • @kurtspiano

This amp was sold 2 years ago with a telecaster, it was a set (guitar+amp), he sound normal, but not as good as others real pure circuit, like victoria, DRZ, ect ... hope help.

  • @backtothetone i suppose the guitar would make a difference, ive a normal 90's tweed pro and it sounds great, victorias are quite pricey to so theres that side of things, thanks though i know what you mean

  • @kurtspiano

Sure, the guitar is important, the Printed Board could be great, but for me when you want that truly organic pure tone, nothing can beat a real point to point circuit, nothing ! your guitar becomes alive with that amp, change your way to play, and push you to play better !

  • @backtothetone your right but i reckon id have tosave hard to buy an amp' thats handwired etc', maybe one day though, those victoria amp's are nice, ive looked at those in the past,

  • @kurtspiano

Buy in second hand, you can easily found good amp in second hand, try DRZ, like the maz 18, i just buy a Maz 18 and it's a fabulous amp, pure tone to play quiet everything like blues, rock, country, rockabilly, ect ... ect ... ;-). i sold my victoria 5112 for the DRZ, the victoria was too short about watts, and the Z got a master and volume, very complete amp with reverb. ask me in private if you have more questions ;-)

  • @backtothetone ok thanks, i'll take a look into the maz 18 thanks again, all the best,

  • People are selling these online "AS GOOD AS NEW!".

    LOL

  • Sorry Pard,

Obviously you weren't really around in 1952. I've seen lots of amps with drink ring stains but mostly cigarette burns. Having said that, I am not going to trade NEW money for OLD looking amps or guitars, just not my thing.

    Big Ron

  • why is it that all of these stupid amps have drink ring stains on top and ripped grill cloth? Have you EVER seen a drink ring stain on top of a tweed amp that looked like that or a ripped and torn tweed grill cloth? I bet you haven't! Stupid amps!

  • pointless "up"!

  • I have a second hand for sale or trade! If anybody interested let me know.

  • still got it--how much

  • where's the sound of this?

  • that is pure shmexay!

  • Give it to me.

  • Beutiful !!!
