Zac Efron's voice didnt go with the songs and how high it is so they had to mix his voice with Drew Seeley, it wasnt til they made HSM2 and 3 that they made songs to go with his singing pitch.. so before anyone says Zac cant sing, he actually can. He just couldnt get the high points on HSM1 that Drew could get. Overall though Zac has a beautiful signing voice still.

Zac didn't sing with her because he was filming Hairspray and since Drew sang for Troy in the movie he went on tour. Zac can sing but his voice was too low for a tenor so they chose Drew. Zac Efron sings in the second and third movie, but not the first!

I know. Which makes me wonder what exactly the casting people were thinking when they got the new infamous High School Musical cast together. Hi "irinaninalanaTV" You don't know, but Drew is singing all songs in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL instead of Zac Efron. If Younow, Drew is a Canadian singer, and he made a soundtrack to this movie, so he "sounds" like a Zac, because he's singing his song in this movie(on YouTube) and in HSM. Zac is only moving his lips ;)
