hey man i saw your post on the mustang forum about what you did and i was just wondering what process you specifically used, like paint adhesive? how many coats of paint what kind? i have a black stang and am hoping to turn my interior from grey and black to just plain black. Would be greatly appreciated if you could respond thanks man
how does the shine look is it a little dull or is it factory material? i like the way it pops with the exterior color nice job. i have a 04 grand marquis with red exterior and i want to touch up a little on my doors but i dont want it to look dull and take away the value of my luxery. please let me know so i can make up my mind befor i make a mistake and please give me an honnest opinion ...thanks
man, i got the same year model. and i have the tan interior too, i hate it! what did you use to paint the interior..... i need to do something about that

@atigers850 Thanks. Well actually you should not paint the steering wheel that's the only thing that started to chip. I cleaned everything really good with some chip degreaser cleaner its in a spray bottle used for kitchen stoves or counter tops.

Wow, a badass driving a V6 SN95 with a painted interior, automatic transmission, and chapstick in the rear seat. If you under 21 years old, I forgive you. If not, all hope is lost and you should just admit you made a mistake buying a car you are not happy with so you make up for it with mods that make it cooler in the heads of 8 year olds.

@roncycilia btw gt's can also come in auto trans just for the heads up (i got one) i like the read interior, especially the interior of the door, but you do have to replace those back seats with some black leather or something.
what did you use to paint the door handles and how long ago did you do it?how is the paint holding up on the interior?thinking of doing this to mine but not sure yet.
i used krylon fusion for all the red as long as you use some degreaser and sandpaper it will stay on good and for the black i used regular flat black krylon paint i just degreased everything thats the only stuf that needed touched up but it hold up great.
just dont use duply vinyl paint i tried that before and it really sucked

@atigers850 I used dupli interior paint first but it sucked. Then used krylon paint from walmart worked great.

im painting my 96 mustang gt now, was tan/black. im makn it yellow and black.
yours looks nice now, you just need your seats done
