and generally, the smaller each cylinder's bore and stroke, the higher they can rev. generatting more horsepower than a single cylinder with a LARGE bore and stroke making lower revs.. but that one large cylinder would generate more torque because with said large piston and rod comes large crank counterweight.

Well, R6 has 4-cylinder = possible to make more power, 700R has 1-cylinder engine, but you COULD take more power from it but it wouldnt last long and it would need rebuild very often.. Sorry for my bad english.

@chris305baller well thats pretty fuckin simple.

a 6 cyl can make more power because these engines are 4strokes. if one cylinder at 700cc is revvin at say 5000 rpms its only gettin 1250 power strokes per min.. the other 3500 are all left up to the crank counterweight. whereas 6cylinders working together you would get alot more power strokes in per minute and a LOT smoother a power curve. and a lot MORE power. even IF each cyl is only 100cc you dont know much about engines do you.
