  • I thought I couldn't love you any more, then you made fun of Twilight

    <3 <3 <3

  • @EmmaB3545 Couldn't agree moreeeee!!!!!!!!

  • Well, made it to day 8 of angie reads PDL and can't stomach it any futher. Nothing personal. You did a wondeful job bashing it. I just can't stand to hear anymore of it. Good thing I don't own one. After reading the 1st chapter I would've taken it out back doused it in gas and struck a match. Ever see the movie The Book of Eli? Only movie thats caused me to scream BURN IT FOR THE LOVE OF MAN BURN IT TO ASHES! A better twist would've been if it was a book by Carl Sagan. Dragons of Eden perhaps.

  • wonderful Pinoccio comparison - one of my favourite stories when I was a child :-D

  • Uh-oh. Now I'm worried.

When was the first time man went to the bathroom?

Since it isn't mentioned in the scriptures, maybe it hasn't happened yet.

Does it say that Adam worshipped God in the garden of Eden?

  • @ActsOfFreedom Pissing & shitting are mentioned in the Holy Babble.

  • st mary appearance in egypt zeitoun

  • I know. God so loved his chosen people in Exodus that he needed Moses to talk him out of destroying them. We're just his slaves. He pleasures himself with us? Ewww. He loves some of his children more then others I guess. *pout* we were hardwired to worship but music was an accident. I hate being told I was made for God. That's such a waste.

  • I love you! You discovered a new fallacy: The Comma Fallacy. Hahahaha.

  • We're Pinnocio. Nail on head dear. :oP

  • God loves Slayer!!!!!!

I'm off to listen to "God hates us all."

    Peace :]

  • That is the creepiest chapter title I have ever seen. D:

  • Why is it that whenever you mention "give pleasure to God" I think Monica Lewinski?

    :)

  • Wow, if i did believe in that religion thing, i guess i'd rather go to hell with a bunch of moral, atheist people than with a bunch of morons in heaven. cause i'd probably end up going postal in heaven XD

  • @Sal0pe69, What better way to attract criminals than to promise salvation merely for the asking? Salvation itself has no utility whatsoever for anyone who doesn't have a soul filthy enough to need redemption. Hence it should be obvious that most of the people who end up in heaven are there precisely because they are so innately loathsome. Which makes sense when you think about it. Why would a brutal asshole, like the god of Abraham, want to be surrounded by decent people? He'd want other scum.

  • What are your mental illnesses?

  • @Serostern, Maybe she has too much personal integrity to cower before an evil celestial dictator just to save her own immoral soul. Or perhaps she realizes, as I do, that religion is a crime against humanity and wants it stopped. Robbing children of their natural right they to devise their own ontology costs all of humanity the insight they might otherwise bring to us all. Perhaps she's simply not morally bankrupt enough to endorse such a pointlessly cruel and inane theory of existence.

  • Moley moley moley!

  • @Goodlord58 But didn't your god put these moles on my face? I'm pretty sure you're insulting his intelligent design when you make a lame-ass attempt at insulting my appearance.

  • ANGIE!!! Will you ever read to us a book of the bible? Love your stuff!!!

  • @Killjeser I'll read Job, maybe over Christmas :)

  • Have you heard from Rick?

  • "Gee thanks god!' HAHAHAHAHAA

  • Great work Angie! I love the energy and sarcasm you bring to the table while reading PDL. I don't think I would have made it past the first chapter. Hearing about your previous experiences in your faith is also interesting... and your right about Rick Warren, he is a douche nozzle.

  • Thanks Angie. This really is awesome stuff.

  • Planned for god's pleasure? Is that like "ribbed for her pleasure"?

Are we all just "dildoes for god"? This Rick Warren fellow seems to be......repressing some strong emotions.

  • @rohanwotan2, I love that metaphor. But considering there is no Mrs. God, isn't it a lot more likely that religious people are inserted into an entirely different place? I notice the bible never mentions what it smells like in heaven.

  • Really... Even if the biblical god existed(he dosent) i still wouldnt pleasure him... i would give that murderous, homosexual hating racist bitch the middle-finger and steal his shoes...

  • What do you say to those Theists who claim God spoke in a way that people of that time could understand, and didn't command them to do what they could not do. A God of that time does the best he can with the people he had. The people were the limit on how good God could be. This could explain away the bad verses where God looks like the Devil.

  • @MsMrNoface, This doesn't hold water because there has never been a time when people didn't have a sense of wrong and right. We can be moved to tears merely by witnessing kindness. And what the hell are tears for if not to foster empathy? This isn't something we need a god to figure out. Nature discovered goodness simply because it is more empowering to cooperate than to compete. It makes us more fit. The good feeling is there merely because it made learning civility more likely to happen.

  • @ananiasacts Thanks for your feedback.

  • @MsMrNoface Except the Bible also says god is ageless & unchanging. He made people, and designed the Fall. Also, I think in Isaiah 45:7 is where Bible-god says, "By the way peeps, I created evil. Suck it." It's possible I'm paraphrasing.

  • @AngieAntiTheist OK, but this apologetic only requires that people change, not God. This is the defense that Jehovah's Witnesses use to explain away the hideous things God did and harsh laws he set in the OT.

  • @MsMrNoface But god's personality, actions, etc. change radically from the Old Test to the New, if you accept that Jesus is god. The message shifts from "Obey or I'll kill you" to "Obey and LOVE IT or go to hell" (yet somehow Jesus is known as the nice one....)

  • @AngieAntiTheist Thanks for your answer.

  • I know I haven't been commenting but I thought you should know that I have been watching each one of these and find myself eagarly awaiting the next one. This is a great series and keep em coming. Probably worth the cost of that retard book.

  • "God likes all types of music." - Rick Warren

Rick has inside information about what type of music god likes? Wow, rick REALLY has inside knowledge on the mind of god.... *sarcasm*

  • "Giving pleasure to God" - sounds kinky.

So, we have no right to exist for ourselves - only for pleasuring God - and that doesn't make Rick feel insignificant?

No biblical support for enjoying ourselves? Ecc. 8:15 and others. On a related note, God's plan for poverty: Proverbs 31:6,7 "let him drink and forget his misery".

  • so...We are... an ant farm surviving simply to please our owner,... Could explain earthquakes, lol

  • @skywize, Maybe god is just a vivarium vendor and we're really just adorning some celestial office or showroom.

  • I wonder how many of your former church goers see or know about these vids and if you've ever had any backlash.

I do not believe Rick Warren believes one word of this bullshit.

  • @longslidenyc Actually, a lot of my former Sunday school students (oh yeah, I taught Sunday school) are now atheists. I must have been a terrible Sunday school teacher lol.

  • You must throw up, as if you're doing it for Jesus!

...and have a continual conversation with Jesus, while you're doing it!

    lol XD

  • I'm way creeped out by the idea of being here for God's pleasure. Especially when RW has to repeat it so many times. Heebie-jeebies.

  • Hyp. #1: God has a plan for me

Hyp. #2: God made me an atheist

Hyp. #3: God made me for his pleasure

Concl. #1: God already planned to send me to hell, no matter if I choose to worship him

Concl. #2: God will send me to hell for his own pleasure

Concl. #3: God is a sadistic prick

  • @yaesenkole, Religion may have evolved because it artificially raises our collective intelligence. If there is a range over which each person's innate capacity falls, then one way of artificially raising the applied intelligence is to convince the morons to stop participating. If religion appeals more to the intellectually indolent or less adept, then it could be doing exactly that: convincing people with nothing to offer to waste their lives exploring a fantasy kingdom designed to soothe them.

  • @ananiasacts Hang on a second - religion is beneath "intelligent" folks like you and me, but it's fine for the "intellectually indolent or less adept" because they have "nothing to offer"?

Religion hurts people. I don't understand why the pain of less intelligent people would be acceptable, just because they are less intelligent. I hope I misunderstood you greatly.

  • @AngieAntiTheist, I'm trying to explain it, not endorse it. Why would such a dysfunctional enterprise evolve? But I can think of more than one way in which it inspires thoughtfulness: it is also so profoundly sinister and insidious that it might actually be part of what motivates the search for better ways to validate beliefs of all kinds. If only to free its hostages from their unwitting imprisonment. Decency itself is the grim reaper pursuing religion today. We're just along for the ride.

  • @ananiasacts Like I said, I hoped I had misunderstood you. Glad to know you're just presenting a view, not sharing it. Thanks for the clarification.

  • @yaesenkole seems sound to me ^_^

  • Superstition is apparently hardwired in humans or how do explain religion? Gullibility is hard wired in people also or how do you explain Rick Warren? Laziness is also hardwired in people. Otherwise they might think for themselves.

  • A disembodied mind? but the bible mentions body parts: face, hand, back, white beard. sounds like a very human looking bady

  • Of course even assuming the biblical account is right, mentioning something first doesn't necessarily mean it happened first. It just means that the first incidence that was thought worth reporting happened before the first incident thought worth reporting in the story. If the LOTR trilogy mentioned hobbits smoking before hobbits using slings that does not imply that smoking came first, it's just how the story was written. Rick Warren, it needs a team to identify how many ways he's wrong.

  • "Stooopid!" hehe..love it.Great vid as always.I live in a very small southern town where I may very well be the only atheist,so it's nice to hear someone else expressing opinions(facts) very much like my own. You're quickly becoming one of my fav youtubers right up there with The Amazing Atheist and Phil Hellenes.

  • Just make sure you call out God's name while experiencing pleasure and it counts as worship!!

  • stalker girlfriend is pretty much the modus operandi of christians

"if I do the right things hell love me"

"If I keep calling(prayer)even tho he doesnt answer my calls,he'll come back"

"I know he loves me,even tho he doesnt talk to me"

"hes really good even tho he punishes me"

"I know Im special to him"

purpose driven life? really? what purpose?

  • i am ribbed for gods pleasure.......ewwwwwww V_v

  • @sinokman LOL!

  • I think you misunderstand most of the meaning of life...You are very negative, I'd like to see positive videos from you, that support your views..They would be much more effective in expressing your beliefs, or lack of beliefs...I'd bet my parents were way worse than yours!! I'd bet that my mental illnesses are comparable to yours, and I have an opposite view of life, and God! Your anger has made you hate, and your hate has made you blind, and there is more to this world than can be seen!

  • @InventorGorilla, Her message is a positive one. She is trying to help people recognize that a parasitic idea, and industry based on it, are holding most of humanity hostage on a bluff--that we have an afterlife. It's an inane idea that makes no sense if you think it about it carefully. Our soul is an epiphenomenon of our physical structure itself. To allow your life to be influenced by concerns over a promised afterlife is truly crazy. It is a terrible thing to encourage people to do.

  • @InventorGorilla "I'd be my parents were way worse than yours!!!" Well, I didn't realize we were HAVING a pissing contest but to make a claim like that, you'll have to bring supporting evidence. My grandmother led a cult and killed at least half a dozen infants. She raised me. Do you really think your parents were worse? How many children did they murder?

  • @AngieAntiTheist ' My Father was in Vietnam, not on the ground with a gun! But in a control center launching rockets from a computer, that killed men, women , and countless children. Without even seeing their faces... Day after day, estimated kills in the thousands, wich drove him to drink and hisdiscoverhis closet homosexuality on me. My mother was a heroin addict who introduced me to drugs to help her find a supply, then the same to my sister, til I found my mother dead of a heroin overdose..

  • @InventorGorilla Sounds like god was really there for you as a child, huh? How on earth can you support the idea of Rick Warren's god - that he picked your parents based on their DNA, and never mind how shitty they'd treat you or themselves. Wow, god was there for your whole family!

God isn't real. I'm sorry your childhood sucked, and I'm sorry mine did too. I spend my life now trying to help other people, prevent child abuse. What do you do? I don't need god to have purpose. Neither do you.

  • @AngieAntiTheist I never said I support rick warrens idea of God.... And I do believe there is a God, sorry you don't!!! But it's not my business to care about your soul! I just disagree with your methods!!!! Spreading negative crap, will only result in more negative crap.. It's the law of attraction.... And I do need God for purpose, because I choose, to follow Christ, I choose to believe in God. I choose!

  • @InventorGorilla You choose to believe in bullshit. What, do you want a fucking medal?

  • @InventorGorilla Ahem, quoting you: because I choose, to follow Christ, I choose to believe in God. I choose!

Me: You choose to believe in bullshit.

    You: I don't CHOOSE shit!

Are you really calling me a liar when there's such a clear record? And yeah, my childhood sucked but that has nothing to do with whether or not your myths are true, does it? (Hint: NO.)

  • @InventorGorilla

"Can you prove it's ALL bullshit? "

She doesn't need to. Can you prove there is any merit to it?

  • @InventorGorilla You sound like a big fucking cry baby yourself!! You have to believe? You are such a pussy. Fucking man up. Not everyone is a little bitch who needs to have the blanket of religious bullshit. Now go put your head in the sand because Angie hurt your little religious feelings.

  • @InventorGorilla why do you have to believe? you probably sub consciously to believe and then believe that you have to also prove there is any merit to believe in god

  • @AngieAntiTheist ...cont... so I wasn't rying to have a 'pissing' comtest. Cuz I hate telling people how horrible my parents were/are!!!! I use my experiences to help people find spiritual healing, through the power of positive thinking (the law of attraction) "The secret".. ever seen it? anyway I think you have it all wrong, and your message is negative, thus is your future! please send me a message, I just wanna help you, do some actual good. I know you mean well!!!

  • @InventorGorilla "The Secret" is a conman's motivational bullshit, and it's victim-blaming if you think it through. Are starving children in Africa really just failing to apply the "law of attraction" and think really hard about FOOD? It's a joke and it's not true and the people who support it aren't credible scientists, they're authors and clergy and conmen.

And yeah, I've seen the film. It reeked of cult indoctrination bullshit like my faith healing childhood. It's garbage.

  • @InventorGorilla, and you're to be commended for it too. That's what is so wonderful about this place, we can be more honest with each other than we can in the flesh. I'm pretty sure Angie believes that your love for the fantasy you've adopted has blinded you to the horrendous damage it does as well. The difference is that we are willing to explain exactly why and how what you are doing is reckless and asinine. But all you can do is accuse us of being blind to your insulting mythology.

  • @ananiasacts I never accused you or 'angry' Angie of being blind.. That would imply you cannot see, I'm implying you don't like what you see and are looking the other way. And what am I, personally doing thats reckless and asinine? Since you know me so well, please explain who I am, and what I believe that gives you the right to accuse me of such things? btw... I wasn't talking to you.. FUCK OFF.. I was talking with Angie, your being rude..

  • @InventorGorilla, I like honesty, so your anger communicates little more than sincerity. I realize you've survived a horrible childhood, and were most likely helped by religious people; leaving you horrified to see anyone condemn what you believe to be so beautiful and worthwhile. If you post anything here, you're inviting every reader to comment on it. That's what this place is all about. I think places like this will help us discuss subjects too touchy to address in person. Not rude: honest.

  • @InventorGorilla To say I've "devolved" because I no longer believe in fantastic myths or religious faith would suggest earlier humans lacked religion and faith and mythological belief, and later ones had more faith. The opposite is true, though of course neither of these has to do with genetic evolution. These are social concepts and memes, not exactly the same thing. :)

I am an anti-cult activist, and I understand bullshit better than you. At least we each have our specialty.

  • @InventorGorilla You're assuming I've generalized based on one experience, without knowing any details (fyi, you're wrong.) Of course my grandma being wrong has nothing to DO w/the veracity of any of those other claims. But like my grandma's claims, they also have NO EVIDENCE to support them.

Go be anti-Angie somewhere else. This is my corner of the internet.

  • @InventorGorilla, are you suggesting that "positive" and "negative" thoughts correlate to the same polarities of electrical wiring?!?!

  • @InventorGorilla, Of course her message is negative, would you tell someone speaking out against child abuse that they should change their tune because their message is too negative? I'm sorry to hear how much you've paid for our incompetence as a society to ensure that all children's rights are preserved. But I think you are now working to ensure more children suffer the same fate rather than less. Real solutions aren't so easy to find. You healed yourself and should be proud of that fact.

  • @ananiasacts How th F^%$K am I 'working' to ensure more children suffer the same fate, rather than less? Who the heck are you to tell me what I am doing, by pointing out that negative finger pointing at morons who write books, does anything positive. Any persom with half a brain knows Rick warren is a jackass, and her countless video's are like watching hicks shoot fish in a barrel over and over,There are so many ways to help children. I volunteer for Childrens hunger fund.. on sat. 9-11 a.m.

  • @InventorGorilla, by promulgating an exploitive ideology that robs all of humanity of the most precious gift each new person has the potential to uncover: a more useful ontology. I don't need to tell you that a young child has no defense against the psychosis of their parents, so why would you encourage an industry that is deliberately and knowingly fraudulent? The mere fact that they fully realize that it is only a theory should stop them from teaching it as if it is known to be true.

  • @ananiasacts REALLY??? your an idiot, most of what we know about space, is a 'theory'. And when you can prove that there is no other dimension capable of existing that could be described, or defined as a spiritual plane. Then you might have a leg to stand on.. And I don't take my kids to bible study, or church....I'll let God show Himself to them, as he did to me, my mother, my granmother, ect, ect. That is how we do it, by faith, and faith alone. What is the gift that free religion takes from us?

  • @InventorGorilla Don't be mad just because you don't know what the word theory means in the context of science.

  • @InventorGorilla, It robs humanity of the potential each new child has for discovering a fresh perspective on reality. This is the source of all human progress--a new way of seeing the same old world. By making itself sacred--more important that everything else we know, religion ensures that children will absorb respect for the perspective before they have the cognitive maturity to realize how asinine, exploitive, and sinister that the entire enterprise actually is. God deserves our contempt.

  • "god's not that cool"

Youre awesome!! I came across your name in someone's blog, bitching & complaining about you. You pissing off fundie Christians kinda made my day less craptastic. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

  • @Key2daUnderground Oh cool! I'm being bitched about on Christian blogs? Awesome :)

  • YAY your videos make me feel better about myself. Thanks Angie :)

  • No the a union with God in that way is wrong for that is how the damn are born that is a homunculus.

  • "i was planed for god's pleasure."

god "created" us so that he could watch a live porno 24/7.

    lol.

  • @IssuesInABottle You see that's why AIDS doesn't kill many lesbians, he doesn't like the guy/guy stuff but he loves the girl on girl action!

  • this kinda reminds me of the game franchise "Black&White"

  • You'd have to be crazy to put up with 5 mental illnesses...

  • So were just gods sex toys? Ewwwww

  • I'm thinkin' Stockholm syndrome.

  • I am here for "God's Pleasure?" I knew God was a pervert. I think I need to take a shower. *shiver*

  • @GottaStopKillin Yeah and God will be watching you saying "Oh yeah, baby, scrub harder, yeah you're dirty aren't you?". Really there's no way out.

  • Designed for god's pleasure. Whether or not pleasuring god brings us pleasure seems to be something that god doesn't give a shit about. Marquis de God? Rick needs help, medication, or a stay in the funny farm, perhaps all of those.

  • Wow, your remarks about music remind me of a stanza of a song I made up:

    Where do nonbelievers go? - They go to hell when they die, they have no morality;

It's not the deeds you commit, it's the saviour you choose, only Jesus sets you free.

Have you ever heard of that one before?

  • Did you get those messages?

  • Well Angie, I guess I should thank you. I just watch this everyday and now I don't have to read the stupid book! Woohoo. Thanks for the service!

  • @witchymama lol I know right? I have had the priviledge of actually never hearing about this book before Angie started reading it, and now I don't have to go buy it to ridicule it

  • I don't think the "RW's God"= "Geppetto" analogy works. In the story Gep made Pinocchio because he wanted a son to love and raise, not someone "to live entirely for him" and to whom he could plan everything in his life in advance for based on his whims.

Angie, from your pro-individualism/rational self-interest and anti-religion/collectivism arguments you strike me as a person who has read Ayn Rand yet has managed to not go over the deep end.

And yeah, RW is a creationist.

  • @ShadowPa1adin I've actually never read Ayn Rand, although I did compete for the Atlas Shrugged essay scholarship back in school.

  • @AngieAntiTheist Ayn's one of my heroes, so here goes. She eschewed the Libertarian movement. Found it deeply flawed. The basic moral code of altruism, according to her teachings, is "Man has no right to exist for his own sake, that service to others is his only justification for existence, and that self-sacrifice is his highest moral duty, virtue and value." Same altruism you hold up as good?

  • @216trixie, A lot of people who actually have accomplished a lot, like Daniel Dennett for example, recommend dedicating your life to something you find more important than yourself as a simple and nearly foolproof strategy for achieving happiness. I disagree strongly with Rand. And think there more to it than the above. I suspect empowering others in meaningful ways is a wise strategy because it's a hell of a lot of fun, and folks that do it regularly, like teachers, seem atypically happy to me.

  • @ananiasacts Helping others for your own pleasure is fine. It does bring happiness, the most selfish of all emotions. Placing others happiness as all important, and your own is worthless, is wrong.

  • @216trixie, I doubt it is possible to ignore one's own desire for happiness. I wouldn't call it "wrong," so much as meaningless. Even the most psychotic monk, hell bent on enduring as indentured a life as they can devise, is still likely to be experiencing a satisfaction with themselves that they find more pleasurable than whatever alternatives they can imagine. What we think we own actually seems more like it owns us. This goes for nothing so much as the knowledge we posses.

  • @216trixie That's not what I mean when I say altruism. My philosophy is secular humanism - caring for others because I have *empathy* and an imagination. With those two, how can I not WANT to help others?

  • @ShadowPa1adin The reason I haven't read her is because I think altruism is the corner stone of ethics, and she seems to be the basis of libertarianism, a philosophy I personally find equal parts deeply offensive and deeply stupid.

  • @AngieAntiTheist I read The Fountainhead 600 years ago. More for entertainment that philosophical insight. Yeah, Angie, your instincts are right. Ayn Rand was a cult leader. Michael Shermer's essay called The Unlikeliest Cult is online. I recommend it.

  • @Godlesspanther You read Ayn Ran 600 years ago, who are you Enoch? lol just kidding. I'll definitely check out Shermer's essay. Thanks for the recommendation.

  • @AngieAntiTheist Altruism isn't about helping people. Altruism is about self sacrifice for sacrifice's sake. if you get a greater value then what you lose in an interaction it is no longer altrusim. So if you give a man 5 dollars but feel good about yourself for doing it it's no longer altruism but the highest form of interaction which is trade. If you really want to help the poor invest in business. more business=more jobs= the poor taking control over their own lives and self-interest.

  • @greenghost2008 No longer altruism - as narrowly (and I find incorrectly) defined by Ayn Rand. It is however altruism by most anybody else's definition. I am not a libertarian and find the philosophy equal parts insulting and stupid.

  • @AngieAntiTheist just to note Rand didn't likelibertarians very much.

  • @greenghost2008 On what grounds, I wonder. Do you know? I admit, I've never had much interest in her work.

  • @AngieAntiTheist Basically that libertarians are to relativistic. She felt that libertarians never really proved there politics with and kind of philosophic view. She also claimed libertarians stole her ideas. She thought they were just weird hippies.(to give you an idea of her view of hippies she wrote an essay about why woodstock was stupid and bad(naked peole barking like dogs)

  • @AngieAntiTheis Ayn rand and her objectivist support israel and libertarians talk about Israel like they are the bolshevics

  • @greenghost2008, I wouldn't say the motivation for it has any bearing on whether a given act can be considered altruistic or not. Certainly if it is a genetic predisposition that we share, it's probably because there really is more utility for your genes to trade some of their fitness to enhance the fitness of others harboring the same genes. I think a lot of what we perceive as economic injustice is actually just an unavoidable consequence of the rate that productivity is rising.

  • @AngieAntiTheist plus what is usally holding third world countires back is lack of economic freedom. In india it is almost inpossible to create a small business. in Hong Kong you can do it in a few hours. One is much richer then the other. The same is true across the board. Africa has little economic freedom and so many crazy laws that what money people do have goes to bribing officals just to live.

  • @greenghost2008 I'm pretty sure there are additional problems in Africa, besides difficulty incorporating a small business. Big Business is certainly a big problem in Africa, as well as people not having access to basic life NEEDS like clean water. How are people gonna start a small business when it takes them 5-8 hours a day just to gather potable water?

  • @greenghost2008, I'd say the exact same thing is holding everyone back from economic, political, and religious freedom: the lack of a tangible political capital and a fair (not deceptive) market to spend it in. Nature provides us with a world that is easier to profit by exploiting than by enriching. Our job, if we wish to have a lovely niche to occupy, is to find a way to reverse that gradient; to make genuinely adding value to our world lucrative, and lowering its net integrity expensive.

  • @ananiasacts I have to compliment your calrity and skill at writing but my response is that the market and industry is a mechanism to improve pon nature for personal benefit and secondarli the benefit of those around. The market is the true revealer of truth in terms of the value of anything(not just matreial) the market is really just free interactions of peoples without force or fraud. We are having a free market interaction right now. One of ideas. This market is the best way to add value to

  • @ananiasacts world as it has always added wealth and comfort to humanity with reason and self-interest as it's drive. I'd like a defination of what you call economic injustice. To me if you have homless people and multi billionaires in your nation that isn't proof, byitself, of economic injustice. It is if the rich are rich by pull(government and the rich working together to basically "fuck" everyone) rather then merit and if government gets in the way of the poor(minimum wages)

  • @greenghost2008, The economic injustice is simply massive externalities that effectively transfer wealth from poor to rich. CO2 is an excellent proxy of this effect: our CO2 footprint is a rough measure of how much we're either exploiting or being subsidized by others. A fair system would distribute an equal number of "rights to pollute" to each of us that those who wished to pollute more than average would have to purchase in a free market from those not wealthy enough to use all their rights.

  • I love what you are doing, my tolerance is exhausted and I cant take any more of this drivel. I am not sure if anyone has said this in a comment yet, I think you should start calling this book "Puppet Driven Life". Just a thought.

  • Well, lots of men and women do call out God's name a whole lot while doing it.

  • What mental stuff do you have. I know of the OCD. Your atually more calm then when my side(objectivism) on youtube talks about religon. your vid had less curse words.(i recomend the vid series belief in god is a diliberate act of evil by dandandanicans(might be spelled wrong)

  • @greenghost2008 OCD, PTSD, depression, anxiety and an eating disorder (currently in remission)

  • This book is nuts AND bolts.

They should come out with a Mad Libs version..

    Christians Rule By

    DICK WARren

  • Rick Warren gets dumber and dumber as this book goes on.

  • Angie you're HILARIOUS XD

  • There's is a completely atheist tribe in South America called the Piraha(sp) that actually deconverted a christian missionary.

  • Dude, I love you.

  • So is Warren deluded or just looking to make a buck off the rubes?

  • lol@we we were planned for gods pleasure. that explains why he torments the crap out of us the sadistic bastard. next time someone sees him tell him to find his pleasure somewhere else. why cant modern people worship a female goddess?

  • First, the one thing you can do that god can't is... actually exist! Congratulations.

Second, I'm reminded of people screaming out "oh god, oh god, oh god" and things like that during sex. Hell I actually look like (the stereotypical white version of) Jesus. If I was into delusional girls do you have any idea how much ass I could get if I wanted, especially if I learned to do magic tricks?

Also stalkers do love their victims, well some of them

"Love is a religion based on a fallible god."

  • LOL at "STOOOOOOOPID"

  • Why does each chapter show a picture of a tree? Is it meant to be the tree of knowledge? If it is, we aren't supposed to eat from it.

  • You were created to be God`s play toy, doesn`t that make you feel really special? Isn`t that just the best thing you could ever imagine? What could possibly be more meaningful or satisfying than to know that God created you because he was really fucking bored one day? Isn`t it more fulfilling to be God`s puppet bitch than to be a unique life form that came to exist by an incredibly long process of gradual change that began billions of years ago with the first molecules? Who needs freedom? lol :D

  • God's a pimp and we're his bitches!

  • He is indeed.. Stoopid.. He's a perfect case study for my new idea. It's called "T.W.E syndrome" (Thinking without evidence syndrome) When one is detached from reality and evidence of existing things and moulds ones life around this idea, become increasingly "locked" within ones own inability to search for answers for fear of being proved wrong.

    Just an idea...

  • Awesome. I would never want to read this on my own. I'm glad I get to hear it from you with commentary.

  • So....masturbation is scripturally a pleasure we were meant to have...we're going to hell for it?

  • Rick Warren's god gave us pleasure as a gift? I guess being Anhedonic means I wasn't his creation. Thanks Rick!

  • "Living for his pleasure" sounds so dirty, like a dirty old man LOL. that's why i laugh at some christians that say "god, USE ME!" lmao ^__^

  • More of Rick Warren's bullshit! LMAO!!
