It's funny with artists, when they have done a load of it then your like "wow that's amazing" and you think its done. But then the artist brushes over everything and your just like "HOLY SHIT THAT IS FUCKING AWSOME!!" and then it is truly finished.

in the video description, it does acutally imply that he was, in fact, drawing Gimli from lord of the rings (and he did a brilliant job of it). I agree with you that no-where does it say that he was drawing simon. if anyone feels like contradicting me, then i suggest that they go and compare this to the dwarf in the acutal film - i think then they will see the resemblence :)
