These are not laser guided bombs or anything like that, the green beam is an Infra-Red Marker used by ground forces at night to visually designate targets to air assets. The marker is only seen by enhanced vision like night vision and thus limits technological lacking opposition like taliban from seeing the source of the marker.

@garzac7815 I am well aware of what lasers are, I graduated from MIT. I've worked with them alot for years. And if the mirror was clean it would deflect the laser wherever you want. If there were dirt of debris on the mirror, then that would heat up- eventually breaking the mirror and causing it to fail. But inside a lasers diode there is already mirrors. Lasers can be sent through fiber optic as well.

This isn't actually guiding the rockets you see... rather they're pointing out the the location for the strike. You'll notice that the rockets aren't landing directly where the laser is pointed.  Also, the soldier says "another flechette round", which as far as I know you don't have on laser guided missiles like the hellfire. The helicoter supporting them is using FFARs from underwing pods, which come in several varieties, including flechette.
