"Ever since I watched this movie for the first time I've had a crush on that girl at the very end of the opening titles who's resting in the glass. =)"
People just say "one of the best themes". But they never mention the genius behind this great song. Better than John Barry, Pal Waaktaar (today, Paul Waaktaar-Savoy) also wrote the song (in fact almost the entire song is his). And finally the incredible performance by a-ha, one of the 80's nost famous bands.
John Barry is KING!!! And Dalton was a good Bond. Behavior wise, I think he embodied 007 from Fleming's books more than the others. They all worked in their own way. And this movie really doesn't get enough credit. It moved away from the fun, cheesiness of Moore's films. I guess some people weren't ready for that at the time.
Probably the best bond theme along with: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and a few others. I too think Dalton lacked credit. He was a good Bond. Two worst Bond Films are: The World Is Not Enough (1999 complete shit) and For Your Eyes Only (poo on toast) :) with compliments
It is a good Bond song...but the movie doesn't get enough credit...I liked both of Dalton's films quite a bit. They were very serious, ahead of their time...look how serious Bond is now...
Dalton is quite possibly my favorite Bond and both movies were fantastic..fierce action...raw emotional power (esp. Licence To Kill)...they were great
My favorite Bond theme!

This is certainly my favourite bond theme tune, but Casino Royale's theme song ("You know my name") comes a close second

This one could be said the most realistic Bond movie.

@KeroroTWN Add to that, The World Is Not Enough ( excluding Renard's sick condition ). I think it is also quite realistic..

This is one of my top 5 favorite Bond songs and favorite Bond films. I love The Living Daylights; Timothy Dalton is the man!
Ever since I watched this movie for the first time I've had a crush on that girl at the very end of the opening titles who's resting in the glass. =)

The new themes like the Quantum of Solace one by the White Stripes dude and Alicia Keys (correct me if I'm wrong) just don't even compare to this.

You mean Jack White

Ta, I didn't care enough about him to find and use his real name, so 'the White Stripes dude' sufficed for me.

Love this song. Perhaps one of the sexiest bond intros John Barry composed.
