Im pretty pleased with mine actually and use it most nights when i cant get on our family laptops(kids!) Mine is version 2.0 and its ok its obviously not in the ipad league but what do you expect for £89 uk????? I have heard today that google have bought out a new version of google maps in 3D for android so looking forward to that.

I just recently got a version of this, the epad,theres a lot of crap that wont work, u gotta use a flash drive to transfer apps(cuz the android market is fake) have to bypass the youtube app so it doenst crash immidiately, i got it for class to take notes and stuff, not good even for that, its an interesting little thing though, for $100 its worth it, but dont expect it to be super smooth and fast, it is still appealing but its not ipad smooth.

hi there. is there a way to hardreset the device with a button combo? i did a hardreset via the menu after 2 hours i got the device and now the boot process is stuck at the android logo. I've no idea how to flash (or even get a nem image) the device ;)

Yeah...Fail...Epic Failure...600Mhz is not fast enough for a tablet, and with that software you're going to need at least a 1Ghz processor...the lag on the screen is ungodly awful...the price for something like this is way too high consider it's piss poor performance...

@Malott21Rocks There is a little reset hole on the back. If that doesn't work, you can always put a new firmware on it. That should reset the device for sure.

@crycfos actually the ipad is rubbish. They have reviewed and come to the conclusion its very simple, ipod touches and iphones are better and cheaper. Also they are playing against Wacom, they have no chance, the ipad is a toy and it isnt very good and is very limited

There selling similar knock-offs to this on eBay for now. You can get one for a grand total of $140, that includes shipping from Hong Kong. Literally thousands of listings for them. It's no Apple iPad in terms of snappiness and battery life though. The ones being sold on eBay have a battery life of 2 hours when unplugged which is a major annoyance. However, for $140 this makes a very nice ebook reader and basic use internet browser. Just wish the battery life was bettter.
