  • First time trying it...I find my mind wanders off so easily. I'm able to maintain peace for a short time before losing concentration again. I'm confident I'll be able to improve the more I do this though.

  • Love it. Im married with 3 kids. Me and my son have ADHD and my other kids are just kids needing to dianosed my husband is a big baby. So finding this video and take 5 minutes out of my crazy life makes a major difference loved it. After i get the hang of it im going to teach my kids how to do it

  • This helped me sooo much! I used to get bad stomach pain caused by stress, but I didn't know it was stress. Later I found out it was, so I found this video to relax. Every time I felt bad stomach pain coming up, I listened to this and the pain dissapeared :D Now I can relax my mind and body even without the video. Thanks alot!

  • I'm only have 2 problems. I can't close my eyes perfectly. When I close them I sometimes have them relaxed but at times it 'wants to open' and I have to force is closed again..sorta.. I don't know if you get what I mean.

    Second thing is I don't know what to focus on when I have to fill my mind with happiness :( Maybe it's better for me to try it with music is special frequencies and focus on my breathing? I dunno what to do :(

  • This worked great for me :). It might've worked a little better if my family wasn't making so much noise in the house -you'd swear the walls were paper thin-.

  • @xxkageyumixx It's never a bad thing because you have completely relaxed. I know a lady who falls asleep within five minutes every time she goes to meditation. But that's just how she does it. It's all about the subconscious working whilst your mind is at ease.

  • @ceasefire066 I think its good, because meditating is relaxing the body and mind, and if you get sleepy after your done, that means you are meditating the right way. other wise you would still be on the move with a full mind.

  • ya sitting straight is part of it. if ur slouched ull get uncomfrtable at some point.

  • Thank you so much, I have spent so long now sleeping for 3 hours a night, I had tried everything, even sleeping tablets and still woke after 3 hours with a racing heart beat. I tried this last night and slept like a baby. I woke up so drowsy, It took a while to figure out where I was. :)

  • @aceOFtheJOKERcards I am really happy that u feel this way. Buddhism changed me. Hope the meditation is still helping u. it puts me in such a state of peace and joy, i feel amazing when its done right.

  • I've seen quite a few meditation videos and found a lot of them lacking - I grew bored or distracted or didn't like the instructions given. This one was very good. I didn't grow distracted, felt very relaxed and liked the way it ended. Thank you for helping me get back into meditation.

  • yea you can. i do that as well

  • Yes, you can use the cushion if you can not sit as the standard position.

    You can sit on the chair or the bench or on other things that make you fell relax and comfortably

  • I actually felt that! So that's the third eye? It really knocked me off balance when it happened, but seeing as how I'm just beginning to learn meditation I expect that. I hope to control this in the future, of course.

  • @freddiego60 DO NOT lie down; sleep & meditation are different wavelengths. you want weight evenly distributed on your body. dont worry about positions. just keep thoughts out by using a mantra if you meditate. it is intent, NOT position.

  • Lol, sometimes when I meditate I start seeing things clearer than physical vision. Many times I feel like my body floats and stuff XD

  • Meditations helps to clean the mind and the soul, it can also help you to evolve you spirit and your vision of the world and you can also love others no matter what,

    All of those skills are in us, that kind of spirituality is the most beautiful thing in life because we can actually evolve from own our soul.

  • strange feelings in your head is probably the opening of your third eye... but after 12 years of meditation, it should be open already.

  • I can't sit straight if I am totally relaxed, is sitting straight important? If I sit straight my back is not relaxed.

  • You are used to a bent back with time it does get better but lying down works as well! the more you meditate in the sitting position which takes about about a week if you meditate daily you will find it better!

  • @chof09 u got to find the right balance and then u'll find your sel relaxed in the sitting position. it takes time maybe, but is the first step to allineate your chakras

    Meditation..is not too hard for everyones to try..no worry about how to sit..how to put your hands..you can lay on your bed..or sit ..whatever you want..the point is about..you feeling your body relaxing and no stressed ;)

    well..i'm glad that you would like to try..that's very nice.."don't give up ;) " soon you'll find the way of yourself to feel relax..and you'll see the peace inside of you ^.^

  • @chof09 use a wall for your back, more important to be able to breath and have a mostly straight line on back.

  • chof09 you can either sit on chair if it is comfortable for you or find the best way for you to sit on the floor. There are many ways... try seiza. It's Japanese way of sitting which is very usefull if you have problems with your back while meditating. It will help 95% when you relax your back in the process but it will be hard on your feet if you're not used to it but once you get used to it after meditating your feet will feel like you've just learned how to walk again(works for me^^).

  • Though here is something i do not understand. How does a state of thoughtlessness eventually lead to a state of enlightenment when enlightenment is complete understanding. How can you learn understanding if you just think of nothing all the time?

  • Enlightenment is to get the light within you. It's important step to percieve the real thing. It's like you turn the light on in the room, you can read and know what is in the room. The mind proceeds in the following order: percieve, memorize, think, and know. If you percieve the right one, you will get the pure knowledge. Lord Buddha did see the truth of life from meditation by this process. To get the light, the mind needs to come to standstill.

  • I think it's normal. The first times I meditated I felt very tired, like I could fall asleep anytime. But that's the good feeling, to be so relaxed that you're about to fall asleep. :)

  • it is best to listen to the music and the voice.but it is more important is to do what he says and think about it

  • To stop thinking for 5 minutes would be quite a feat, akin to holding your breath for that long. There are some who can do so, but they are very rare and practiced. Just keep practicing on following the breath and you will find that your thinking slows and your happiness increases.  At least that has been my experience.

  • Just watch your thoughts let them come and go , don't hold them. Just say hi thoughts bye thoughts. While meditating just watch your breath coming and going, when you get distract by thoughts just leave it and come back to your breath when you realize it.

  • Sleep is unconscious meditation. Meditation is conscious sleep. In sleep we get limited energy, in meditation we get abundant energy. This energy enhances the power of our body, mind and intellect. It opens the doors for our 6th sense and beyond. With this boosted energy through meditation, we will be relaxed healthy and happy. It also helps to reach greater heights in the physical realm Meditation is nothing but a journey of the consciousness towards the self.
