Man i love this video!!! i watch at least every week and am now meeting up with my buddy in 3 weeks to walk this. we have done the climb about 3 times and this is my first highline im going to attemp. i want to be able to OS it but we will see how that goes. ive been train on 100 footer + long lines so i beleive its all just in my head.
slacklining is sooo addictive but not sure I could do this ;) maybe slacklining and juggling at the same time would be a good idea :) I've got a signed Leo poster of him doing this above my bed.. melt
well, if your doing these things you know how to handle ourself exactly how this gentleman does... you see everytime he knows that he is going to fall, he leans off to his left and wraps his right knee around the rope.. basically that usualy dosent happen because these people know what there doing..
leo is my grand nephew. a REALLY DOWN TO EARTH LAD (THAT SOUNDS A BIT STRANGE AS HE'S ALWAYS UP IN TH AIR.HE CLIMBED THE OLD MAN OF HOY WHEN HE WAS 11 (IT'S A FAMOUS TALL ROCK JUTTING OUT OF THE SEA IN NORTH WEST ENGLAND .OR IT COULD BE SCOTLAND.HE'S JUST LIKE A MONKEY CLIMBING,NO FEAR.I AM SO PROUD OF HIM...HE'S DOING EVEREST AT THE MOMENT.
When I landed in the valley we were watching climbers on El Capitan, they found out I was the hang glider pilot. We both pointed at each other and said, "You guys are crazy!"
I slacklined for 2 summers and thought i was really good 6 feet off the ground. But when i set up a 60 foot high line i couldnt do it for shit! Couldnt watch the webbing long enough. Kept looking at the ground.
*rope breaks* Meanwhile 50miles away from Yosemite, a mysterious splattering sound was heard, but no trace of it has been found.

Everything pales in comparison to the walk across the twin towers in NY. Now THAT GUY HAD BALLS !!
emanmark 2 years ago
But you can't do that anymore! So if you want to be a bad ass slack liner, where should one go?
jkimmmm 2 years ago
that was a tight rope, about three inches wide and the guy had a balanching pole, this is a rope as wide as your finger with no support

This comment has received too many negative votes show
well that wasn't too impressive. i've done that rope walk and managed it first time with no safety line.
i also had to get everything setup myself as no one was available to help out at the time.
