i love these guys, new and old. yes, their new stuff is definitely less southern and more hardcore, but i could still pick it out easily from generic hardcore like attack attack or woe is me. these guys are good with whatever style, so don't compare the two, just accept them both as different sides to the same great band.

The new album is very redundant. The Sinner is a very good yet typical hardcore sound. "Between The Lies EP" is where its at. It retains some of the unique sound but is much catchier. "Be Careful What You Wish For","Action/Adventure", and "Deuces Las Cruces" are all excellent songs.

Don't get me wrong, i love nearly all genres of 'hardcore' music, metalcore being one, actually I like most genres of rock, but all the bands are starting to sound the same. When you have a band like MMF that were producing a reasonably unique style of metal/blues, that then release a new album and almost completely ditch this style so they can sound like every other metalcore band with their chugachug breakdowns, well yeah, it pisses me off.
