Hey Rob.C I've been following your account for a little while now, and I was curious, where do you get your plexiglass? I went to lowes and all they had was very thin and flimsy sheets, your sheets seem to have some thickness and structure to them. Also, what size enclosure would you recommend for a 2.50 P. Regalis?

@tarantulaguy1976 You're unbelievably lucky to have a woman who will allow you to have your own room dedicated to your critters. I've been whining to build a greenhouse [something like a geodesic dome about five to six feet off the ground, like an astronomical observatory but smaller] but I'm always reminded how much more they'll add on to our taxes. So I remind her that's it her choice to have the inside. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Love these vids on enclosures!!!

Hey, so i love the idea although i have a red tail boa baby in a 20 gallon tank and humidity doesnt stay in for shiit with a screen top so i will be making a lid just like this except the cage will be sitting normal instead of tall ways.... so my real question is i have a heat lamp, can it rest on the plexiglass? will i need to have it not touching the plexiglass?

As long as the glue is dry and there's no glue strands around, the T will be fine.

As long as the glue is totally dry, you're fine...won't hurt the T at all.
