First, this is NOT OLED. At least I con't find even a hint of it being anything else than LED backlighting.
Also, I find a contrast of 12k to 1 almost as pointless as a 2ms response time. On top of that, I know those numbers aren't to be taken seriously anyways -- the way they're measured is usually a joke. (Though I have to admit ViewSonic didn't cheat as badly as everybody else in the past.)
Still, this video is wasting my time with bogus or useless info and therefore gets a "poor".
oled is actually the correct term, there also is sumthing called foled which is more amazing then this. the day when foled monitors are available, we'll mistaken our monitors with a piece of paper. not joking either
sorry to say it but OLED and FOLED is EXACTLEY the same, these monitors that are called OLED monitors are just fixed but when removed they could be flexed
actaully oled cant be bent if bent it breaks. foled also cant even be bent yet since it is still a prototype, so the non flexing unit that is not meant for flexing is alled an oled. they are still deveoping foled which means it wil be foldable without messing up
Viewsonic makes great monitors for the price. I have a laptop and a viewsonic desktop and the viewsonic's picture quality is evident.
