I think it is fair to say that one can only truly see the beauty of this song if you have experienced the Quest for Glory games. Personally I get thorougly touched by this song, and there is no way to explain the feeling; it's just something great and beautiful. I get drawn back in the magical world, and I would literally lie asleep in Erana's Peace forever if I could.

I played this game when i was a kid. I took a chance to see if i could find this song in youtube. WOW! What luck. Thanks for posting it. When playing Hero's Quest, i would spend so much time in Erana's grave. I felt the magic in that place. So many years later, i still feel it.

@buddacafe I was the same. I used to pretend I was sick so I could stay home from school and play the game all day. lol

Erana's Peace was my favorite location in the game. I used to just go there and leave my character there while I did other things around the house, knowing he'd be safe there.

I'm sorry, I regret to say I can't read a single note of music... I figured this out by ear (yeah, I'm one of those people) and wouldn't know how to turn it into sheet music for the life of me. If you really wish to play this though, I can recommend this: Download the erana's peace midi and use midi software to turn it into notes, or slow down the song to the point where you can easily make out the tones that are played.

I found this video by accident, but... Oh my goodness, this is BEAUTIFUL! :') I adore sweet/sad piano music and I've tried to play this on the piano a few times but I'm rubbish at it. This was exactly what I wanted to hear but never could. Thank you for such a gorgeous performance!
