Was this released in Japan on the SNES with the correct title or only the Famicom. Also this is one of the hardest games I have ever played I remember never getting passed the Second World. Eventually I did get to the Final Bowser not realizing there where two. OOPS!

Well, i think it's actually a trap! small mario jumped in, and a shroom fell on top of him, making hiim the same size as the princess... that caused him to be to big to get out of the bars just like the princess couldn't get out. And now they are trapped in there, noone knows where they are, the only person who had the key is now lieing under lava... They are in trouble. Maybe if they hit each other one time each they will shrink or something.

That's only in the original Famicom Disk System version. The game simply continues to world A after you beat world 8, and no special conditions need to be met.

This is Super Mario Bros. 2, the "real" version. It was only released in Japan either because Nintendo of America thought it was too similar to the original Super Mario Bros. or because it was too hard. The Japanese version was released for a Japanese-only add on for the Famicom, called the Famicom Disk System. This version in the video is apart of Super Mario All-Stars, a compilation of the NES SMB games for the Super Nintendo.
