theres an easier way to do that and u only need torps
just go straight at him until you get to 0.2 then full reverse and fir 2 torps if one misses fire another simple and saves you from reloding if there is more than one destroyer chasing you

I don't know if you can do it that fast in real life, but the destroyer is already sunk anyway, so you just want to get out of there before any other ships get your range
