keep hittin it , hope to meet n get down with you one day

  • damon frost, just curious u knowin melvin real well(as a person and a boogaloo dancer), when i see diferent top10 boogaloo/waver sites why is the "real" mr fantastik not given his just do. for example top 25 wavers on west coast poppin doesnt even mention him. alot of this younger generation does not even understand the talent that he had. he was no doubt the all around best(pop,3d,wave,tut,gimmick). where do u think he ranks among the best.

  • MELVIN McCULLOUGH a.k.a. MR FANTASTIC was an incredible dancer and friend of mine. He was really the truth PERIOD ! ! ! He would challenge himself and others on the reg. and was a fearless battle monster and innovator. MEL passed just recently and all of his Bay Area people are still feeling the loss. My lil' brother and partner was an inspiration to me,Berkeley and the whole 80's Bay Area popping scene. He set a very high standard very early on and kept it.

    MISS YOU MEL ,, R.I.P. BRUH !!!

  • damon is good, but the "real" mr. fantastic aka boogaloo melvin is the best

  • @MrDamariee

The REAL MR. FANTASTIC your referring to was MELVIN McCULLOUGH R.I.P. !!!

Make sure you use capital letters when you write his name.

    Miss you little brother...

  • Well actually Damon started roboting and boogin in '75 when I was around 10 yrs old. But they diddn't call it boog back then... This is in Berkeley Ca. THE BAY AREA .And about Salah I met him and showed him a few things around '97 when I was with "Jam on the Groove" but he was ALREADY SALAH back then... I didn't start his style. He was incredible the first time I met him.

  • His waves are just the sickest in the world end of story!

  • Groovin'...that's what I'm talkin'. Good stuff.

  • D', you rode that Beat so appropriately! Shit was awesome, dude. You captured that playeristic vibe in the way you got down.

Love to see a vet who knows how to adjust his shit to fit the song

  • THANX BRUH ! ! !

I chose that song at the last moment and I'm so glad I did ! ! ! It gave me time to think =) ! There is this other guy from that battle that you should check if you haven't already .. His name is Yared (RAZZLE DAZZLE) and this kid is FOWNKEE ! ! ! A great boog !

    STAY RAW BRUH ! ! !

  • Just watched the clip from wut I assume is the same event as this one. That dude (Razzle) murdered the beat.

Thnx for the heads up. Been playing catch up with the popping scene for about two years now. REALLY hard to keep up with all the new dancers and trends.
