Great video. See this happen but with crows dishing out the grief. A mate has seen 2 crows follow a Buzzard soaring up on the thermal, suddenly 1 crow plummeted to the ground, we think the air became too thin for it. Thanks for posting

I seen something very similar to this around six months ago in over the fields at the back of my house . It was two Kestrels harrassing a Buzzard went on for around 25 minutes it was unforgettable and now I am obsessed with birds of prey lol . Since then I have discoverd sparrowhawks and Hen Harriers are regular visitors to my back yard and also have seven resident Buzzards who fly over my house on a daily basis all last winter and spring but seem to have become vey ellusive recently .

Thanks. I think the buzzards got used to being hit a couple of times every day. Even a wandering marsh harrier was ignored so the buzzards could be given their daily pounding!

Hobbies are truly amazing - smaller than peregrines but faster in horizontal flight and more agile. You've a fair chance of seeing one around damp areas with plenty of flying insects, on warm days in May and August/September. Keep a look out - it's worth it!
