I have to laugh when I read all these comments predicting all-out civil war if the elections are suspended. Here's a newsflash: With probably one or two outstanding exceptions federal politicians have been pounding each other on the back for decades crowing the "The Constitution is dissolved and is dissolved perfectly! We can do whatever we want!" Ever since Wickard v. Filburn in 1942. Nothing the feds do any more is Constitutional! What will it take to get you people off your asses?

But you need to prepare your mind and your resources for the fact that if elections are suspended, there will be some kind of horrendous excuse to justify it, and that excuse will cut deeply into the logistical capability of fighting a war. Obama has very little, if any, regard for our Constitution. So, what makes you think that our raging narcissist-in-chief will somehow start following the Constitution when it comes to nullifying his impending defeat in the 2012 elections?

The truth is however that if Ron Paul (who is the only real alternative to Obama) on the Republican side won the primary, Rush would probably back a suspended election because he supports continual war overseas and the war on drugs along with a host of big government programs Paul opposes.
