  • @KCabreira....it is frustrating sometimes how some people just can't SEE or HEAR or UNDERSTAND something that is so CLEAR. I do not know about you but I was BLIND and DEAF as well at one point. I could LOGICALLY...oh I was so LOGICAL lol, disprove it all so easily. Then I watched the Alpha Course videos with Nicky Gumbel. More importantly I actually prayed over and over please give me eyes to SEE and ears to HEAR...after one video I saw that it is not just on FAITH alone that we can believe...

  • @ ReaderDan, where's YOUR proof that his presentation is preposterous and completely misleading???

You say it, but where's your research to back up what you say?

  • @KCabreira You can't prove or disprove that there is a god, there's going to be believers and non-believers you just have to have faith.

  • You've gotta be fucking kidding me. Humans are the centre of the Universe because of their size? Who the hell is this IDIOT?

  • @intigfx

    When did he say that?

  • @ReaderDan At around 1:50. Incredibly pretentious bullshit.

  • @intigfx

I thought it was pretty cool. At least he was being right-wing and saying it's alright to pollute and kill any animal we like for burgers.

  • @ReaderDan

    I mean't "wasn't being right-wing...." hahaha.

  • @ReaderDan No... but when you believe your species to be divinely privileged in the Universe, the sense of self-entitlement to abuse the rest usually follows.

  • @intigfx

Not necessarily. I can see how. And the reason why I disagree is because Bell is super into environmentalism, getting clean water, ect. But I do agree, as stated earlier, that power can ruin a person, ie Stalin, the Catholic church in the dark ages, Mao ect.

  • @ReaderDan Oh I have no problem believing he is for the environment and all and he seems like a warm and nice guy, but however cool the wrapping is, the content of his presentation is preposterous and completely mislead.

  • @intigfx

I wouldn't know how it's utterly absurd, I believe that would depend on the person and how a person takes the information. And I wouldn't know how it's completely misleading, whether he got some numbers wrong drastically or not, he's trying to say there is more than the material. Some content in the presentation is super helpful, like the Hebrews considering everything Spiritual and then applying it to different academic disciplines.

  • Earth travels in an ellipse around the sun, guys. That's why it changes.

  • Bell's Theorem*

  • That is the equivalent of nearly 70 trips from the earth to the sun and back.

    (just a slight correction)

This is over 520,000 times the distance from the earth to the moon.

  • @Bagsy84 But then again I'm not sure since people change these numbers so often HAHA. I just googled those.

  • @Bagsy84 With an average of 60 trillion cells per person, this amounts to 68 billion miles of DNA; enough DNA to stretch to the sun and back 365 times or 140,000 round trips to the moon. If the nucleus were enlarged to five feet in diameter, the uncoiled DNA in one nucleus would extend 46 miles, about one mile per chromosome. Each gene would be about five to ten feet long. )
