This is only 'sort of' a new path. My understanding is that they moved the existing footpath up the hill a few meters, as part of the hill side had washed out subsequent to the wind storm.
The new chain link fence is to replace the old wooden rail fence, and is intended to keep people from getting too close to the cliff and going over.
It would have been nicer to get the fence closer to the cliff, but I guess it would have been a lot more work to put the holes in place.
Good to hear it's a footpath, and not another one-way road for traffic going through the park.Although it's great for ppl that can't get around in other ways to experience the park,it's good to limit the traffic and the number of roads.
HAHA I see u pulled on the emergency exit on the front window too, damn curiosity eh, or somone else did b4 u, now it kinda hangs down looking out of place
We have one with wheels. I may do a video with that one later. Time will tell.
Yes. The cab is heated - and air conditioned. The weather was very wet when I did this job, so I used the air conditioner as well as the heater, as the air conditioner helps to dehumidify the air in the cab, and keeps the windows less foggy.
What will this new road be used for,and what was the reason for building it?
I really miss Stanley Park and know it very well.
Thanks for posting!

I was wondering who all would notice that. I decided to not mention it, and see if anyone commented.

Someone else did it. I tend to leave such things alone, as I loathe putting the windows back in.

Beautiful video. I see you still have the helmet cam rig. Glad for you that the cab is heated and air conditioned!

I always use my air con with the heater Al, just as you say it stops the windows misting up.
