I think Mewtwo isn't THAT good, yes, his special attack and speed is dangerously high, yes he has no low statics but think off it, there are LOTS off pokemons that are better then Mew2 (Lets take Lugia for example, it has EXTREME special defence and when Lugia uses calm mind, there's no way to beat him) Also, Mewtwo has a low varienty of moves, Mew2 can only be good with TM's, also shadow ball doesn't helps mew2 much since Mew2 is physich and Shadow ball is ghost type of move

@zather9 have you ever had a good look at it? it's epic! and anyway, rescently a friend of mine battled me with her "almighty mewtwo" as she called it. her mewtwo and my lugia had been trained to lvl. 100, our stats were maxed out and i won. i also won against her arceus when lugia was at a lower level. her arceus was lvl. 90 and my lugia was around lvl. 79 or so. i'm putting it up against a braviary and a metagross next (2nd and 3rd favourites). that answer your question?

I caught my Mewtwo on Soul Silver (Before I got bored and restarted game XD) with almost all health and just paralyzed, with a regular Poke ball...easiest Legendary catch ever XD

@IndicaEuphora It is basically raising the Pokemon's stats by battling specific wild Pokemon. Defeating a Pokemon in battle gives stat xp in certain stats. When that Pokemon levels up, it will gain a major boost in that stat. This is especially true if the Pokemon has Pokerus, as did my Mewtwo.
@IndicaEuphora ev you can implement to increase a specific basic stats of a pkmn ..like if you want to increase sp atak...it will increase more than a regualr pkmn does...but the problem is the another basic stats will grow up very slow
catching mewtwo on hg/ss is easier than before, just take a strong dark pokemon and dusk balls,and leave him with at least the 25% of his health and it´ll be a piece of cake.....or you can use your masterball of course

XD on my first pkm game i used a master ball on an electrode bc i didnt know that u can only get a master ball once per game. However i was able to catch mewtwo anyway. (it wasn't that hard to catch) but the legendary dog suicune was hard bc i kept having to track him down over and over again.

@IndicaEuphora ev you can implement to increase a specific basic stats of a pkmn ..like if you want to increase sp atak...it will increase more than a regualr pkmn does...but the problem is the another basic stats will grow up very slow

catching mewtwo on hg/ss is easier than before, just take a strong dark pokemon and dusk balls,and leave him with at least the 25% of his health and it´ll be a piece of cake.....or you can use your masterball of course

I caught him with my last Poke Ball. I think it was because he was burned, and I'm pretty sure Attack is a major factor in catch rate, so since Burn halves its Attack... Yeah.

Yeah , but sadly , their spotlight in a SSB game is temporary , I think Sakurai is trying to promote their movies , so both are in one SSB game , I dont think Mewtwo and Lucario are going to be in a SSB4 as playable characters , Zoroark gets there instead , While Mewtwo and Lucario are leftover data , Still it would be nice to see Mewtwo and Lucario(along with Zoroark) in SSB4 , They should make an event with Lucario(good) fighting Mewtwo and Zoroark(evil) , it would be cool .

yes! OG Mewtwo PKMN card! just recently my girlfriend found my near complete collection of the first 150(151) card set and gave me her Mewtwo card to bring me one step closer to getting them all! ... I'm fucking marying her! wish i still had my PKMN Stadium Poster that was on the folder.

XD on my first pkm game i used a master ball on an electrode bc i didnt know that u can only get a master ball once per game. However i was able to catch mewtwo anyway. (it wasn't that hard to catch) but the legendary dog suicune was hard bc i kept having to track him down over and over again.

Lucario is a Mewtwo clone in Brawl. Just face it. Aura sphere is like the shadow ball. Except when Mewtwo throws the opponent back he spams it in their face which is more awesome than Lucario.

@Daka12s Lucario is not a fluke! Can Mewtwo climb walls? No! Does Mewtwo REALLY have ANY good air attacks? No! Can you damage Lucario and still live safely without being owned by a Bowser-sized projectile? No!
Lucario beats Mewtwo in every way, and even the Tier List says so. Not that I believe in the tier list, but the general opinion is: Mewtwo tanks, Lucario rules. SSBM: Mewtwo is 25th. SSBB: Lucario is 11th.

@megaman9945 the first time i got a masterball in my first pokemon game (crystal version) i used it on a lvl 40 sandslash to see if it really was a 100% catch rate... i accidentally saved after it too, so i had to do a new game... fail huh XD

@Victron94 no i did worse. you see i found a poliwhirl in fire red and i used all my pokeballs except for my master ball and i caught it.it was like level 20 something. i told this to my cousins and they said it was for legendaries

@MegaGreen456 my brother did worse. he spent his first year of pokemon playing yellow, and never found a meowth. when he got leaf green, he used his master ball on a level 13 meowth, thinking it was a rare pokemon. let it be known, though, he did catch the three legendary birds in normal poke balls.

@megaman9945 I did too! Back in my original Red file, I misread what the boss of Sliph Co said and thought that I could come back for more Master Balls (for some dumb reason). Never needed them but that Ditto I caught right outside of Fuchsia City was easy as hell.

hahahaha nice (; i used my master ball on something else.. i forget what it was though.... I ended up buying a ton of Ultra Balls and wasted about 70 or so of them just trying to catch him :/

@romor24 it took me 14, each time i ran out i reset the game when i saved right before him, meaning technically it took me... 216 ultra balls to catch this bish, but it was worth it since i wasted my masterball on the mew glitch, now i have a lvl 80 mewtwo and a lvl 56 mew
