this has happened to me COUNTLESS times on this exact same elevator. One time my old manager got stuck late after close and she was stuck screaming for help for an over an hour because theres barely any cellphone service in that damn elevator

Is was jam elevator brake properly, shouldn't cleaning up the elevator for safety test system better than worst of those elevator. Is was lucky there will affect the problem old elevator system might cause bit crash up there or down. That is pretty bad test elevator isn't.

I think it said no passengers on the outside. I don't think even the staff ride this elevator, instead using it like a dumbweighter loading in the freight, and pushing a button on the outside to send it to another floor.

that "jolt" you felt is due to a faulty interlock switch this switch is what prevents the car from moving when the gate is opened

Monroeville Mall sure doesnt maintain their freight elevators. That is probably from the early 1980s to mid 1980s. Cielo Vista Mall has 1974 Emco freights older than those and they still maintain and fix them. That elevator needs to be fixed. Even Sunland Park Mall maintains their Montgomery twinkie m freight elevators from 1988.
