everyone is high on crack. Buakau won. He really is beautiful. He went with punches not because he got "overconfident", but cause he felt that he might've looked weak in that department, and he was trying to show the judges his superiority in that as well. Such good conditioning, power behind every punch to the end! He just got caught at the end, but he took it well also. He was slipping all the punches right after he got rocked. If Sato got caught with one of B bombs, he would be on the floor.

None of the blows in this fight are "lucky" Sato did catch buakaw with a great shot...at the end of the match, but the blow still did not knock buakaw down, and during the entire round buakaw showed control of the ring, agression and awareness, that is the end of the story, if it were any other way Sato may have won.

If you think Buakaw was bribed to lose you're delusional. Why would he win the first two rounds of the fight, then take a Sato-knee to the liver and a cross to his jaw to mark his record with a KO loss (which he hadn't before).

Sato is a top contender, he's tall, extremely skilled with the leg kicks, and has a jaw of granite. He dealt damage to Kraus, Masato, and Kyshenko before. KOing Buakaw was unexpected, but not impossible.

Watch the fight again, he didn't throw the fight. You'll see before the final punch, Sato hit Buakaw with a hard knee to the liver, you can immediately see something is wrong, as Buakaw's body becomes stiff and he even winces in pain. As Sato presses forward, Buakaw is beginning to feel the full effects of the liver shot. He was out on his feet, the punch just finished him off. He was able to break his fall because he wasn't unconscious, the pain from the knee just kept him down.

The pain comes seconds after the initial blow, it's a delayed reaction. There's a weakness that starts spreading from the point of impact, your body starts to shutdown, your heart rate goes way up and your breathing becomes shallow. Whenever your stomach hurts, you instinctively fall to your knees. Which is what Buakaw did, and you'll notice he's holding his right side

Everyone has the chance to talk to the crowd after they win, and if you actually understood what Sato said, he was talking about how he started weight training and it seems to be paying off because he could feel more power in his punches. All you have to look at is Buakaw's reaction after taking the knee, the answer's all there.
