I had the same problem as you. Had been dying my hair red for two years but then I decided to go back to my original dirty blonde. My hairdresser therefore went for a dark dirty blonde to hide the red. I came out with dark dirty blonde hair with copper undertones. So beautiful. And my hair regrowth doesn't show (although it doesn't have a copper undertone, just a slight gold one). I'll have to see when it's done growing back.

Finally! someone who understands.. I'm glad to hear you say that you feel like you need to wear makeup with really dark hair and porcelain skin. I am pale and have naturally really dark brown hair (but it looks black). When I go to a hairdresser, they always think I dye it because it's so dark. And with no makeup on I look like a ghost so I always feel like I need to wear makeup. And my mum and friends don't get it.. they think it's stupid that I'm always wearing makeup.

i just dyed my hair at home the day before yesterday and it just looks weird now :( my hair is too thick, curly and too dark for the color to have reached all of it (even tho i thot i put it on well) so now the front and the sides of my hair are a different color of the rest of it.
