Crass said punk was dead in the late 70's early 80's. basically punk died with the clash and the pistols in my opinion.
but that is not to bash on any of the great bands that have surfaced since then. i even like modern day crack rock steady. but nothing beats classic 77 or early 80's anarcho punk.
but i have to say honestly i think crusties keep the real old school punk spirit alive.
