we watched this is rs and i held back the tears where everyone else cried their eyes out. i was called hearless but it was just the fact that i was with people & i dont like crying infront of other people so i thought id watch it again ot prove that i'll cry.
i do love how they show them in the car at the beginning and then they go back to it later on in the film :)
The film A short stay in Switzerland with Julie Walters playing the part of Dr Ann Turner was a brilliant and I am sure true and exact portrayal of euthanasia as is should be allowed now
I worked on this film and was so glad to be able to watch it again! It is however being released on dvd end of this month. Julie was amazing to work with, genuine and warm hearted.
just clicked on this in my favourites section by accident!but i then watched it all and felt the same as I did when i first saw it for R.S when we studied Euthanaesia-i cried my eyes out again!loved the performance!
Thanks for putting this up!I hope Julie Walters gets a honour from the queen for this.Truly Brilliant Performance!
i love julie walters especially as rosie from mamma mia. she is pretty a wonderful singer and a wonderful actress but can someone please tell me what this is supposed to be about? i live in new jersey and i am 13 so i really have no idea LOVE YA JULIE
I watched this (I am 13) and I have never cried so much in my life. Her performance was amazing, I could never think of another actress making this role as good as she did. Thank you for uploading this. I wanted to watch it again.
I agree. this drama was absolutely incredible. I'd never known what it was like to be truly moved by a film until I saw this and was in floods of tears. We had to watch it as part of our ethics course, so I was all over the place infront of my class XD
I really hope that Julie gets noticed over here for her stunning work in this film! I really hope she gets a Emmy nomination. Its a beautiful performance.
So moving and yet so tragic, but a brilliant performance by Julie Walters who portrayed Dr Anne Turner so brilliantly, best drama I have seen in a long time.
Hello, Thanks for all your work, Do you have Tv drama "Strange Relations", about a new york psychiatrist who was adopted, discovers he has leukemia, and ravels to uk to find his birth mother (Julie Walters) to find a suitable bone marrow match.
