  • we watched this is rs and i held back the tears where everyone else cried their eyes out. i was called hearless but it was just the fact that i was with people & i dont like crying infront of other people so i thought id watch it again ot prove that i'll cry.

    i do love how they show them in the car at the beginning and then they go back to it later on in the film :)

  • The film A short stay in Switzerland with Julie Walters playing the part of Dr Ann Turner was a brilliant and I am sure true and exact portrayal of euthanasia as is should be allowed now

  • I worked on this film and was so glad to be able to watch it again! It is however being released on dvd end of this month. Julie was amazing to work with, genuine and warm hearted.

  • She's a great actress. I love her performance in Educating Rita from 1983 as well.

  • I agree. this drama was absolutely incredible. I'd never known what it was like to be truly moved by a film until I saw this and was in floods of tears. We had to watch it as part of our ethics course, so I was all over the place infront of my class XD

  • Hello, Thanks for all your work, Do you have Tv drama "Strange Relations", about a new york psychiatrist who was adopted,discovers he has leukemia,and ravels to uk to find his birth mother (Julie Walters) to find a suitable bone marrow match. Showed on ITV many years ago, good drama with Julie starring role.
