As well, I hope someone didn't need that fire truck or a policeman for an actual emergency...do YOU even know what you were protesting? For crying out loud, drink some beer and what not, just keep your community safe!
Maybe if the police hadn't provoked the entire incident those resources would have been available. This was the work of a bunch of whining unemployed policemen trying to rationalize their existence. They broke up several parties at once and then wondered why there was a riot?

Actually they were doing their jobs. It's called illegal substances, and underaged drinking as well as flooding into the streets (city ordinance.)
The parties would not have been shut down if those 3 circumstances wouldn't have been met.
On second thought, you're right, let's get rid of all the Police and see what happens.
