Very encouraging. I have recently thought of it. I talked to a turbine maker but he could not understand my idea because he was illeterate. In fact I had thought of it for my light wieght, low cost, low head and portable (if possible) hydal generator for areas where water is plenty. Any body sharing his ideas and views is welcome with thanks. arifsoh@hotmail.com
is the first blade connected to the rotor, and the other blade connected to the stator?
or just one blade turns the generator? its difficult to see it on this video.

You can find more about this by googling 'counter rotating wind turbine'.
By the ways good idea.

Good idea. Very logical. I hope you continue to develop this idea and make improvements.
Maybe you can try it on a larger scale.
Good luck.
