Damn, that drum part is just plain amazing. EVERYTHING is amazing. It's one thing to have bands like Slipknot where a few members truly contribute or get respect and then it's another thing to have bands like Iron Maiden and Dream Theater where every band member gets massive amounts of respect. I think Iron Maiden made an excellent choice picking Dream Theater to open for them last year. I'm glad I was there to actually see it. Best concert ever.

Iron Maiden rocked the world gloriously, and I think that a farewell world tour would be a respectful grand finale for their epic. Much better than releasing a "progressive and mature" album to pay for it - jet fuel isn't that costly.

@Betorockmetal In case you don't know, when Guns N' Roses was opening for Iron Maiden on Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour in 1988, there were more people on their gigs than on Iron Maiden's concerts - which naturally really pissed Iron Maiden off :)
