@brianpadraic I build these planes it does take the guesswork out of flying. I can take someone and teach them how to fly in about a day or 2 in a cirrus. it Doesn't take a rocket scientist i have been flying since I was 13 years old.
Love this plane. Being in one of these is so awesome. BUT, this evening in Tallahassee we just had one, coming in from NY, crash into a house near the airport. Everyone on the plane died.
Also, isn't this the plane a famous baseball player crashed in NYC? Into an apt building?
Ya, he was flying an extremely difficult route that kept the plane under building levels in overcast conditions. Sadly, they closed the route down after his accident.
Angelina jolie is so inspiring. I love that she took up flying, and that Brad also followed his interests. They are truly soul-mates.

Cirrus has more fatal crashes than any other model of aircraft of similar service length. And Angelina Jolie is NO "EXPERIENCED PILOT" like this fawning douch-bag reporter said.
The avionics and systems of the Cirrus make it a safer aircraft, but not an easier aircraft. If anything, the Cirrus is a much more complex aircraft than most other GA aircraft.
