Hi,

I have done some comparing between the English and the French version of this line and the equivalent effects... There actually may be a bit too much echo on this, I believe that it should be a bit more discreet.. (the French version has that echo and sounds like the actor is speaking down a drainpipe... Not cool). You could also try reducing the sampling rate to "fuzzy" up the sound like down an old telephone and see where that takes you...

Anyone who has the Winamp program already has what is needed to save as a .mp3 from audacity. Simply go into winamp's program folder and track down the lame_enc.dll file (searching in windows 7's search bar or xp's search function may be quicker) then navigate to that file again when audacity asks you for its location after clicking "export as mp3".

This tutorial is for home and not Industry so people have memory limits and don't want to have to keep buying more memory. WAV. Is usually used when the file is first created and then for mass production it is converted to MP3. For better space saving. It has also been proven that the human ear can't tell the different between MP3 quality and WAV.
